"I don't want to go yet." Taehyung whined as long as Jungkook pulled up the car in front of his and Seojun's house, after the wonderful day they spent together.
"Don't be like that, Seojun might be waiting. Come on, I'll walk you off to the porch." said Jungkook as he went out the car and opened the car door for Taehyung. Taehyung went out, hand still intertwined with Jungkook's. He looked at the door, then turned to Jungkook.
"I can go there all by myself, you silly." Taehyung chuckled as he swing their intertwined hands.
"If you say so. Too bad this day already end, but we can see each other again tomorrow, right?" Jungkook winked at Taehyung, making the said one smack him playfully.
"So we can get caught, no thanks." Taehyung playfully said, making Jungkook smile.
"I have to go now. Go on, i'll leave when you entered the house." said Jungkook.
"I don't want you to go yet, i don't want to go inside yet." Taehyung pouted, making it hard for Jungkook to resist on kissing him.
"Come on Tae, it's not like this is the only day we're gonna be together." said Jungkook, making Taehyung stare at him.
"You're right. Okay, fine, i'm going now. Drive safe, yeah?"
"Will do, babe." With that, they shared a loving kiss with each other. Taehyung smiled once they drew apart each other, but then it all broke down when he saw Seojun standing at the front porch.
"S-seo, hi! We're already here. Jungkook, thanks for dropping me by. Bye, drive safe." Taehyung eyed Jungkook nervously after he let go of Jungkook's hand, walking towards Seojun who only looked at them with pale face.
Jungkook nod as he immediately went inside his car. Taehyung then looked at Seojun, smiling at him before heading inside their house. Seojun went inside after him, then they heard Jungkook drove off. Taehyung cleared his throat as he headed to the kitchen.
"How long have you been standing there, seo? Sorry we were standing there for long, we just talked about some important.... stuffs." said Taehyung, but only to get no response from Seojun. He already knows he caught them, but he has to act dumb for now.
"Is there anything wrong, seojun?" Taehyung asked after he drank one glass of water. Seojun eyed him, and Taehyung swears that was really scary.
"Are you not going to tell me why two friends who hang out had to kiss like that, Tae? Friends don't kiss, Taehyung. When were you planning to tell me about it? Do you even have the plan to tell it straight to my face?!" Taehyung gulped, too lost with his own words.
"For fuck's sake, Taehyung, why do you have to do that! I-i thought- i thought you only needs time, i thought we were still fine- you made me look like a fucking idiot!" Taehyung only watched Seojun burst out in anger, unable to say something.
"Why aren't you saying anything?!"
"I'm so sorry, Seojun. I'm really sorry." And that's what the only words that came out from Taehyung's mouth.
"Sorry? What will your sorry do?! Are you sorry for cheating behind my back?!"
"No! I'm sorry because i already fell out of love! I'm sorry it just had to happen after i agreed to a marriage when you proposed, i'm sorry you have to find out this way- but seo, i can't stay with you, i can't be with you forever b-because i'm not happy anymore. I'm so sorry." Taehyung spoke, chest getting heavy as his eyes started brimming tears when he saw Seojun already crying.
"H-how- why, what happened, Taehyung? What happened to us? I thought we were still good, we were perfect with each other- what happened? I- i gave you everything i had, all the best of me, is that still not enough?"
"I'm sorry..."
"When? When did this started? 2 months ago, 4 months? Tell me, Taehyung. Can you just fucking tell me so I'll know how long have you been betraying me behind my back?!"
"I'm so sorry, seo, i'm really sorry."
"Stop saying sorry and answer me! Your sorry won't fix anything, it won't fix us Taehyung! Tell me, when are you planning to tell me about this? I swear! I was hoping you would say it was just only a misunderstanding, that what i think is wrong and y-you'll never do that to me b-but- guess what, it won't happen that way. Friends? You met him in the business trip? Have you been lying to me about the business trip too? T-that's why you extended for another day, am i right? To spend more time with him! He also has the audacity to meet me as if he's no one at all?! As if he's not your secret lover you've been having affair with behind my back?! Fuck!" With that, Seojun punched the wall, making the small wall clock fall on the floor. This startled Taehyung but instead of doing nothing, he took a step forward and walked towards Seojun.
"Seo, please hear me out, yeah? But before anything else, i'm giving this back to you." Taehyung pulled off the ring and slowly grab Seojun's hand, then placed it on his palm. Taehyung looked at Seojun's face only to see the tears still streaming down his face.
"First of all, i'm so sorry because i was not the guy you thought you would be spending your whole life with. I already fell out of love, seo, and even how much we wish it not to turn out that way, it already happened and we can't do anything about it anymore. I-i was planning on telling you about this, but i won't have the courage, because you're so nice and i feel guilty on leading you on. 9 months ago, i slept in the guest room alone for the very first time, and the day after, i met Jungkook. We had fun time together, and seo, i felt genuine happiness that i don't feel when i'm spending time with you anymore. The sparks, the butterflies, it's all gone Seo. I don't feel it anymore when i'm with you. I'm sorry you have to find out this way, and we have to end it this way, and i know it will take a lot of adjustment but Seo, please let me go. There's a lot of girls- guys, people out there that will value you like the way you value the person's who are important to you. I'm sorry, but it's just not me. I'm really sorry."
Taehyung gave Seojun a sad smile before slipping his hand off Seojun's hand. He took a step back after caressing Seojun's cheek, wiping off his tears. Seojun shook his head as he pulled Taehyung in a very tight hug, burying his face on Taehyung neck to enjoy every bit of it until it lasted.
"Tae, i'm sure we can fix this, please, just don't leave me. I'm sure it was just a mistake, and you'll still choose me over him, right? Taehyung, please." Taehyung shook his head as he pushed Seojun lightly for him to release himself.
"Seojun, let me go now please. It's already over, and i already broke your trust. I can't live being guilty forever, you know."
"Then don't, don't be guilty. It's all fine, think that it doesn't bothers me. Just don't leave me, Tae, don't leave." Seojun pleaded but Taehyung shook his head a no.
"It's not fine, Seo, and it bothers you. I know. I'm sorry but i have to go now. Please live your life the way you like it, with someone who would reciprocate the love you've been giving." Taehyung smiled sadly before walking away from Seojun, to the front door. He stopped when he saw Jungkook standing outside his car, in front of their house. Jungkook gave Taehyung a sad smile, before gesturing him to come. Taehyung ran towards Jungkook and hugged him tight, where he let out all the tears he had been holding earlier.
