° Sin and Virtue

a/n: soooo i'll be using a different name on this one, Jungkook as Amartia (that means sin in greek (?) ) and Taehyung as Areti (that means virtue). We were asked to write a mythology so i thought of sharing what i wrote, to you guys!!

Once upon a time, there's a king and queen who lives in a kingdom named Etheral. Happiness, that's what they felt when they were blessed with a child, a wish that they desperately asked the lord who was superior to them.

At the same time as the queen was giving birth, a one-year-old boy gestured with his hand not far from the kingdom. He was too enthralled by the bright red light coming out of his hand every time he gestured with his hands.

He had no idea what effect this red light would have on his surroundings, especially on the baby that the queen in the other kingdom was about to give birth to.

He had no idea that this would be the cause of the pains the baby would experience.

Together with the last gestures of the toddler, the crying of the baby that the queen gave birth to. Cry that says the giving birth was a success and the baby that the queen carried in her womb for nine months is alive.

"Your son is a boy, dear queen." said the midwife, as she reached out the -now- wrapped baby to their respected queen.

The eyes of the king and queen widened at what they saw.  Instead of a gentle and angelic face, they saw a baby with two small horns and teasing red eyes.

"No public message will happen! Say that the baby the queen gave birth to did not survive. This baby will be exiled to the kingdom of darkness so that no one else will know him except the punished. This baby is a curse and a perversion to our quiet lives, so it is only right that he should be exiled to never be seen again!"

With this decision of the king, the sleeping souls below woke up and the crows began to wake up, saying that there is an impending calamity that will cover them all. They were alerted and watched together, as the king punished the innocent baby.

The king waved his hand and as if in the blink of an eye, the baby disappeared. They didn't hear the teasing laugh anymore and they didn't see it's gentle smile even though it was said to have horns and red eyes. The baby disappeared and at the same time they decided to themselves that they had never seen it.

Many years ago, it became known that there was a new appointed lord of darkness. This is said to have replaced the former lord of sin and betrayal, and his name is said to be Amartia, a muscular young man with a provocative appearance. He has red eyes and is full of many hidden sins, which other immortals are talking about as the origin of his name.

On the other hand, this news reached the kingdom ruled by Areti, the lord of goodness, love and morality. He's the embodiment of virtue and masculinity. In contrast to Amartia, Areti has blue and captivating eyes. He is considered an angel by his subordinates, also because of his goodness and gentle appearance.

When Areti's parents learned the news, they were worried because this was what was said in the prophecy of their father, the king. The opposite of their son was born a long time ago. The opposite of good. The person full of temptation, evil and sin. And now that he has made his person known to the public, it is not impossible that he will also fulfill the prophecy, and that is to destroy whatever good their son Areti has done to others, as well as kill him.

One day, Amartia thought of visiting his parents, but he decided not to reveal himself to them. Different memories played in his mind. From how his father, the king, exiled him as soon as his queen mother gave birth to him and how he suffered alone in the kingdom of darkness.
