° Head over heels pt.2

"Tae! Taehyung, wait up!" Taehyung stopped and gritted his teeth. He turned around to see Jimin catching up.

"You shouldn't have done that, Jimin. You just ruin this special day for me by calling my father. Why did you even do that?!" Taehyung snapped.

"Tae, I've always told you that you should give him a chance! I took this as an opportunity for you guys to be okay again because— because i care for you!" said Jimin, eyebrows bumped with each other as he explain his side. Although he doesn't know why Taehyung is acting like this just because he called his father to watch him perform.

"I didn't asked you to be!" Taehyung shouted back. Jimin looked at him, taken aback.

"I'm your friend, Taehyung. Your true friend. And true friends don't need to be asked." Jimin said before walking away, tears in his eyes. Taehyung just watched him leave, but started walking away the opposite direction when he caught a sight of Jungkook walking to his direction, passing Jimin with a confused expression.

"H-hyung, wait!" Jungkook shouted when he saw Taehyung leaving. He ran behind him to catch up but Taehyung didn't even stop.

"Hyung!" Jungkook called once again.

"Not now Jungkook, i want to be alone." Taehyung said but Jungkook has determination in him. He ran even more and how caught Taehyung's wrist, then turned him around.

"Please hyung tell me—"

"I said not now, Jungkook! Don't you get tired of always following me around as if you're my second shadow?! Why can't you understand that i don't want to talk right now?! Can you just please stay away from me?!" Taehyung snapped, making Jungkook slowly stop walking. His heart didn't ache at what Taehyung had said, but it ached because of those fat tears on Taehyung's eyes. He wants to wipe it out so bad, but he doesn't want to anger Taehyung even more.

Taehyung pulled his wrist away from Jungkook's grip harshly then started walking away. But he can't change the fact that his heart stung at the hurt expression on Jungkook's eyes. All he did was care for Taehyung but this is all what he did to him. Taehyung knew he fucked up, but he just needs to calm down for a while. Today is too much for him to handle.

Sun has already rised up once again, but Taehyung didn't bother to get up fast because today's weekend. All what happened yesterday hit him like a truck as long as he opened his eyes. All he felt was guilt. He felt guilty snapping at Jimin and Jungkook like that, but felt anything but guilty after bursting all those words to his father. It felt good for some reason.

He sighed as long as he decided to get up. He did his morning routine and dressed up, then immediately left the house before his father could even say a word. He doesn't want to face him for now, just— not now.

He took the bus to go to Jimin's house because he has to apologize for what he did and said to him yesterday. Once he's at the house's doorstep, he heaved a sigh before knocking on the door. It swung open, revealing Jimin's mother. She smiled as long as she saw Taehyung outside the door.

"Jimin, someone's here for you!" She shouted and gestured Taehyung to wait.

On the other hand, Jimin has a smile on his face because maybe the food he ordered has already arrived but all of his fantasies vanished when he saw Taehyung on the doorstep. His face turned flat as he gestured him to come inside.

"What do you want?" Jimin asked as he plop down the couch. Taehyung did the same beside him.

"Jimin, I'm so sorry for snapping at you yesterday. I was just very angry to my father that i took it all out to you, and to Jungkook. Please forgive me." Taehyung sincerely said, making Jimin sigh.

"I'm sorry too. I just wanted to surprise you by calling your father to watch your performance because maybe he can explain his side and you two can be okay again. I just don't want you to live with pure hatred towards your father your entire life, Tae." Jimin said, making Taehyung sadly smile.

"I appreciate your care, Jimin, and i promise we'll be okay when time comes. Let's just not force things because I'm still not over for what he did. It's not that easy to forget, you know." said Taehyung and Jimin just nod.

"So, we're okay now?" Taehyung asked, a glint of hope grew in his eyes.

"You know i can't stay angry to you forever, especially this time that I'm also on fault." Jimin said, making Taehyung smile. They hugged each other so tight, unaware of Mrs. Park looking at them with pure adoration in her eyes.

Taehyung stayed at Jimin's during the weekend, and Jimin was the one who told Taehyung through the land line, and of course he just agreed because he knows Taehyung is still upset with him and he's glad he's staying with his best friend instead of some random dudes out there.

Unfortunately, time flies so fast and its monday already, which means Taehyung had to wake up early to not be late, and he did. He arrived at the university 15 minutes before classes starts, and that's when he took it as an opportunity to talk to Jungkook, hoping he didn't change his mind and is still 'head over heels' for Taehyung like he always did because now Taehyung had already felt the same. He already realized it long ago but now, he's ready to expose himself to him.

He found Jungkook's group of friends in the cafeteria so he approached them, greeting them good morning.

"Sunbae, are you looking for Jungkook?" One of them asked, making Taehyung wonder how they knew.

"Uh, yes. Do you guys know where he is? Is he already in the university by this time?" Taehyung asked, making the juniors smile.

"Yes Sunbae, he's probably in the library or the school ground." one of them answered. Taehyung just nod before thanking them, then walked away to find Jungkook. He's on his way to the library when he saw Jungkook in the hallway, and so he ran after him.

"Jungkook!" Jungkook stopped in his path when he heard the voice of the person he's been admiring the most for the last 3 years or 2.

He can hear his footsteps but Jungkook remembered him saying he should stay away from him and Jungkook doesn't want to disappoint him so he just did. He's staying away from him, resulting him to continue walking and ignore the calls from Taehyung.

"Jungkook, I'm so sorry!" Taehyung blurted out, making Jungkook stop, because he's already cornered. He doesn't have any where to go now and his only option is to turn around and walk past Taehyung.

He did turned around and was about to walk past him but what Taehyung said, again, made him stop.

"Jungkook i said I'm so sorry." Taehyung said.

"I thought you wanted me to stay away—"

"No, please don't. Don't listen to me, continue bugging me, just please don't stay away." Taehyung said and Jungkook can't believe his own ears. His heart started beating rapidly that it might come out his chest any minute now.

"I'm glad— i don't have to ask you to care for me anymore, because you're doing it willingly. I'm so sorry for snapping at you yesterday, i was just very angry to my father that i also took it all out to you." Taehyung said, making Jungkook look up.

"No hyung, i understand. I am the one sorry. I'm sorry because I'm being a nuisance and i didn't listen to you when you said we shouldn't talk about it that day. I'm very sorry hyung—" before Jungkook could even finish, Taehyung had already smashed their lips together, making him step back and widen his eyes.

Such a dream come true! Is this really happening? My crush for almost 3 years is kissing me oh my fucking—, Jungkook's thoughts was interrupted when Taehyung pulled away and smiled at him.

"I think you need to ask me one question." Taehyung smiled, making Jungkook look at him with slightly wide eyes.

"H-hyung, c-can you be m-my boyfriend?" Jungkook shyly asked, in a very small voice and Taehyung just nod.

"I would love to!"
