During the shareholders meeting, Jungkook's phone suddenly vibrated, indicating a call from someone. He looked at it, making him confused.
"Is there anything wrong, Mr. Jeon?" one of the shareholders asked, and all the attention was on him.
"Nothing, you may proceed." Jungkook nodded his head, but excused himself to take the call. The meeting was definitely important, but he just can't let the call die especially when it's someone important to him. Someone who's related to someone that WAS important to him.
"Hello?"
"Jungkook, dear, i'm glad you answered the call. Did i disturbed you?"
"No, eomma, you didn't. Is there any problem? What made you call me?" Jungkook asked with a light smile on his face. No, it's not his mother— but his ex's mother.
"I was just thinking if i can ask you a favor, my dear. You know what happened to Taehyung, right?"
This made the smile on Jungkook's face slowly dropped. Of course this call has something to do with him— with Taehyung. Oh how he missed hearing that name, because ever since, no one dared to talk about him around jungkook, or even mention his name.
Jungkook let out a gentle hum, as he nod a little.
"Jungkookie, i know you two ended up in a not so good terms... but i think you two should talk, or even spend time together... for his sake. He isn't becoming any better, dear, please help him."
Jungkook frowned. How can he possibly help Taehyung just like how his mother is asking? He isn't some gennie in a bottle to cure someone with a brain tumor.
"Eomma, i know you want what's the best for Taehyung but i think, me, spending time with him and having a proper talk about what has happened in the past won't make things any better. It won't make his... It won't cure him, Eomma." Jungkook sighed. This was hard.
"I know, i know, dear. But maybe this can help him calm down everyday and so he would hurt himself anymore. Please, my child, help him. I don't want to see him spend this precious time of his life being miserable."
Jungkook couldn't help but feel bad.
h-he hurt himself? Jungkook thought.
"Eomma—"
"Jungkookie, please?"
This made Jungkook sigh. This isn't a good idea.
"Mr. Jeon, the meeting is still on going and they're waiting for your presence." Jungkook nod his head at his secretary and gestured her that that he would follow.
"I'd think about it, Eomma."
"Thank you, Jungkook. Thank you very much."
i didn't agree yet, eomma. Jungkook thought.
"I think i disturbed you enough, my child. I'm looking forward for your presence. Please help my Tae."
"Bye, Eomma."
"Bye~" Then Jungkook waited until Taehyung's mother ended the call. He sighed, stuffing his phone into his pocket. He stared at the floor for a while, thinking if he should go or not, but thought of coming back to the meeting first and just make the decision later.

"My dear, it's you! Come in, come in." Taehyung's mother enthusiastically greeted Jungkook when he appeared on their doorstep. He had made up his mind, and decided to pay a visit with a fruits on a basket.
