"What about Asha Faye Gleason?"

I looked at Paul when he mentioned a very familiar name. Suddenly, all about her, play inside my head like a movie. Minutes ago, I wasn't thinking about her, but when Paul mentioned her name, the living species inside me suddenly played a wild party. I am distracted now!

How is she? I didn't dare to come near her because I know she'll get mad. But I didn't lose any chance to think and check on her. So, I was still updated with what is going on with her. Not until, I got busy with adulting stage that I couldn't escape. I just came back from Australia.

Nag-iisp ako ng tao na puwedeng maging digital artist for my upcoming online game project together with Paul and William. Kusa silang sumama sa akin kahit hindi ko naman sinasabi. I got a chance to build my own gaming company after many years of working inside our own company.

Nawala sa isip ko na isang digital artist si Asha at kahit hindi ko pa nakikita ang mga gawa niya ay alam kong magaling siya. Not to be bias, but I saw her being entitled 'The Top Digital Artist' and also, a highly recommended by many gaming company. It was all over the internet, so I knew.

"Grab it, bro! Alam ko namang hindi lang tungkol sa trabaho ang gusto mong i-punta doon." Natatawang sabi ni Paul.

Tama naman siya. I also wanted to see her. More than that, I wanted to bring us back together. I think, this is the time that I've been waiting for.

I told him to check the information of their company and also to set an appointment for my proposal. Nagulat pa ako dahil wala pang isang araw ay na-approved na kaagad ang proposal ko. I almost assume that it was her who approved it. But I don't think she will do it. More likely, she'll disapprove it right after seeing my name.

Hours later, I was called for a personal meeting for the project. Mas lalo akong nagulat noong nalaman ko na si Asha mismo ang magiging digital artist sa project na ito. I wasn't expecting her to approve it. I thought she's mad at me. So, I was rushing my way to their company to see what was really going on.

"Ayoko. I'll terminate the contract." She panicked.

I knew it! She just mistakenly agreed with my proposal. I was in the middle of two different emotion. I wanted to feel glad because I finally meet her again, but also, I wanted to feel sad because she is still mad at me. She almost want to kick me out of here! I don't know where I get the courage to stay here. I should be leaving because she wanted me to. But instead of doing that, I pisses her more.

"I said... you are worst."

No! You are great. Really great!

Sobrang maling-mali na iyon ang sinabi ko. I should've stayed silent and wait for them to decide. But I think, it came out good. She accepted the project.

After talking about the proposal, Asha go out first. She didn't even made a shake hands with me as a sealed of this partnership. She came out of the room without saying anything. Without even looking at me. There was a man who followed her from behind. I watched them leave, getting jealous.

Ang mommy at daddy na lang niya ang nakausap ko tungkol sa project. Sinabihan nila ako na sila na ang bahala na kumausap kay Asha. They made sure that Asha will go on all our meetings and will not terminate the contract because according to them, that is against their rules.

Nag paalam na rin ako pagkatapos naming mag-usap. Nakita kong pumasok si Asha sa elevator kaya nagmadali akong maglakad papunta roon para sumabay sa kanya. The door almost closed, but I stopped it.

Pinanindigan ko ang naging asal ko sa kanya noong nasa sealing of contract kami. I made myself look cool and that I have no care about her. But damn! I really care. I want to fucking hug her and never let go.
