Chapter 19

Emily's P.O.V

It's been a at least two weeks already Luke, and Michael haven't been talking to me lately. Calum and Ashton have been really distant to me too. So far I feel very lonely.

I've been walking to school instead of taking the bus or getting I ride from someone.

I grab my backpack and head downstairs. Michael has been acting really strange lately. He's always going out with his friends supposedly but whenever he does he always brings his guitar with him.

I miss hanging out with Michael and Calum. Calum and Ashton were acting strange too. They always say they're busy after school now.

Walking out of my house I see Luke's car.

"Luke what are you doing here?"

"I'm just waiting on Michael".

I look inside his car and see Ashton and Calum sitting in the back.

What is going on here?

"Oh okay". I continue to walk to school.

At lunch I usually sat by myself. This whole day I couldn't stop thinking why they're all hanging out without me. I feel so left out. I soon realized how lonely I am.

I go on my phone for a few minutes and see a trays on table. I look up and see Ashton, Calum, Luke, and Michael sitting across from me.

"What do you guys want?"

"We just don't want to keep this secret from you, so we're going to tell you what's going on" Calum said.

"Well whats going on, you guys have been clearly closing me out".

"We're in a band" Luke says.

My eyes widened. "Seriously? You guys should of told me".

"Well we just wanted to surprise you" Ashton said.

"Surprise!" Calum added.

"But Luke and Michael? How are you guys getting along?"

"We both decided that it's not worth fighting for the same girl, it's your choice" Michael said.

"Okay".

"Emily you should totally check us out on YouTube" Calum said

"Or if you want you can come over after school to my house to watch us play?" Luke asked.

"That would be great" I smile.

I can't believe Luke and Michael are friends now. Does that make me friends with Michael?

I know already who I like but I just don't know weather to tell him or not.

I knock at Luke's door and Michael answers.

"Hey, you can come inside"

"Okay" I smile

"We're in Luke's basement we're just getting ready".

"Okay".

"Hey uh listen you, I just want to say can we just start over please, I really don't like being all awkward" Michael scratches his back of his head.

"Of course".

We both walk down stairs as I see Ashton sitting behind the drums, Calum holding a base guitar and Luke tuning a guitar.

"Hey Emily" they turn and look at me.

"I can't wait to hear you guys".

"You can sit on the beanbag we'll play in two minutes" Ashton smiles.

I sit on the beanbag and watch them get ready.
