It was a gloomy Sunday morning. I have just been woken up by the sounds of drilling in my walls, which made my body twitch slightly.
Turns out my mother was redecorating her room because she needed a change in her life.
'Why are you drilling holes in the walls at nine in the morning, mum?', I asked rubbing my eyes out of tiredness.
'Oh, I didn't see you there! I'm sorry for waking you up, but I needed a change in my life! Everything in this room reminds me of your dad, but don't tell him that!', she responded with a grin hiding the desperation of closure in her soul.
I really wanted to empathize with her but after she woke me up like that, I wasn't going to giver her pity. I went into the kitchen and prepared myself some breakfast, something I wouldn't usually do.
I called Emmerson to ask him if he wishes to come over, but even after four missed calls he still hadn't answered, so I called Belial instead. After a few minutes of chatting with Belial, I ask him to come over to my house because we were both bored.
He refuses politely and tells me that he needs to get ready for school, which I totally forgot to do that day.
'Can you give me fifty bucks?', I shouted throughout the sounds of the drilling.
'Sure honey! Get it from my wallet that's in the bag on the sofa!', My mother exclaimed while stopping the drill and wiping off the sweat off of her forehead.
I went to the closest shop nearby, not wanting to interact with anyone and just mind my business. I buy the supplies I need for school, but when I got to the cash register I realized I needed a new pack of cigarettes.
'Excuse me, miss! Can I please get a pack of Royalot?'.
'Can I see your ID?', she said confidentily.
Before I could even hand the cashier my ID, Emmerson comes from behind my back and hands the lady his ID.
I got what I wanted, instead of an explanation. This was just like the hallucinations I had with Astrophel.
When I asked Emmerson why he wasn't answ, he told me he was 'just' busy, and that I was 'overreacting'.
Those words formed flames inside me, only making me want to spit the fire out onto Emmerson.
But I went along with his game, I wanted to see how far he could go, even though I felt stuck in a loop of time and space.
The day went by faster than I would have ever wished, because school was starting.

It was the next morning, and I was on my way to school walking hand in hand with Emmerson, when I saw my friends.
All of us shared the struggles we had preparing for school.
Me, Alexander and Monroe were really good students so we didn't have struggles.
Seth was a struggling with physics a bit, but they still had good grades.
Bug wasn't great at math.. he wasn't even good...
Emmerson wasn't good at half of the subjects to be honest. At first he was a study-hard student and a high achiever, but since me and Emmerson have been distant he hasn't been paying attention in class.
It was a good day, but a thought haunted me all day.
'I wish Belial was at this highschool, and I wish that Emmerson was at the highschool Belial's at.'

Author's note:
Emmerson was starting to annoy me little by little everyday, at first I was madly in love with him, I would've done anything and everything for him, but he was starting to turn into a reflection of my past.
