It was the first time I've experienced this.
I was peacefully sleeping in my room until I woke up out of nowhere.. I tried getting out of bed or even making a slight movement, but it was impossible to move any muscle other than my eyes.
I didn't realize it at the time, but I could still breathe.
'How could this happen?', I thought to myself.
As curious as I was about the situation I was in, I never looked up at my ceiling, because I could sense an anomaly.
Even though I was smart enough not to look at the ceiling, I looked into the mirror.
Inside the frame was thirteen year old me looking at me with the most caring eyes.
I could tell he was proud of who I've became and how far I've came knowing how much pain I was holding inside of me.
Tears started streaming down my eyes while thirteen year old me slowly faded into the unknown world of the mirror.
Without realizing it, I was able to move my body again.
After that interaction I cried as much as a human could do.
I cried until bloody tears came out of my eyes.
My eyes were burning like they haven't been before and my chest started to sting.
After forcing myself to stop gushing blood out of my lacrimal glands, I fell asleep.
The next morning I felt extremely lightheaded. I couldn't do much things that day, so I just layed in bed and slept my thoughts away.

Author's note:
The feeling of being trapped and paralyzed has always been a great fear of mine.
