The only hobby I had growing up was drumming. But in college drumming became my job, so I had to resort to another thing that made me happy.
Dressing up in drag.
It all started when I was with Belial on a date and one of his friends, that I didn't know at the time had came to greet us.
She was wearing full drag when she introduced herself with her stage name'D-rag Doll', so I was amazed because I had never seen a drag queen in real life back then.
I asked for D-rag Doll's number and asked her for advice because I knew I wanted to be a drag queen from the moment I saw her.
Belial loved the idea and said that he cannot wait to see me preform on stage one day, which made my heart melt.
The first time I ever got in drag, was the first time I had a wig on, the first time I wore revealing clothing and the first time I was having guaranteed fun. I liked everything about it, the music, the culture, the people, it was a dream come true.
I needed a lot of help for my first look so D-rad Doll helped me and I looked fantastic.
My makeup was stunning, I had a smokey eye with gold glitter and a red glittery lip look, my eyebrows were on fleek and my cheeks were snatched.
I was wearing a latex suit that only revealed my lower stomach and classic Demonia's.
'I've never felt so fierce',I thought.
Belial was obsessed with my look and he obviously thanked his friend, my drag mother for helping me.
When it was the time for my first show, I was really nervous about how people are going to react about me going on stage, but it was the most love I've ever gotten from more than six people.
It was like I've finally found my destiny.
My journey of being a drag king was a successful and easy one, but many stories aren't like mine. So I wanted to thank the people who didn't have such an easy journey for still being here and, for fighting for what makes them happy.

Author's note:
Drag queens are seen in an unfavorable light right now. They are being called pedophiles and other really serious and horrible things that do not have anything to do with their culture.
Times are really bad now for drag queens, trans people, p.o.c. individuals, indigenous individuals and queer individuals.
A lot of people are trying to destroy these groups of people but we won't give up, because they cannot erase us.
'We are here, we are queer.'
'Trans rights are human rights.'
'No more.'
'Just say no to the Jim crow laws.'
