"Is she sleeping?" Chase asked me.
"Yeah. She fell asleep about 10 minutes after y'all left." I laughed and looked down at Kendall.
Her arms and head rested on my legs as the rest of her was still kneeling on the floor. I had tried to move her but she just whined and swatted my hands away.
"She okay?" He put the pizzas on the coffee table.
"I think wedding planning is stressing her out. She's having to make decisions and she's just a little tired."
"Been there." Noah said. "Best thing Chase did during wedding planning was take decisions away from me for a few days."
"Sometimes you gotta revert back to the basics. We sometimes forget that the relationship started as dominant submissive."
"She's gonna be sore laying like that." Chase said.
"I tried to move her."
"Here." Chase got behind her and lifted her carefully. Of course he earned a whine and a smack or two. "Hey, calm down demon. It's your favorite gay."
"Hey!" Noah said.
"Second favorite." He muttered and laid her on the couch with her head on my lap.
"Thank you."
I rubbed her side and patted her butt. She really must have been exhausted, considering she didn't really wake up much while being moved. And Chase isn't known to be the most gentle handed.
"She's so cute when she sleeps." Noah said.
"She's cute all the time." I laughed.
"But look at her."
Trust me, I was.

An hour or so later both my mom and Kendall woke up. We all spent the rest of the night playing games, and watching movies. Kendall didn't talk much, and she never strayed far from my side."We should get going." Chase said.
"Bye! I love you." Noah hugged Kendall
"I love you. Thank you for coming today."
"Of course. You looked stunning."
"Bye sleepyhead. Take it easy for a few days. Give your mind a break." Chase hugged Kendall.
"So much to do."
"A few days won't hurt."
After they left, I grabbed Kendall's hand and kissed her knuckles, "Why don't you go upstairs and pick me out some sleep wear?"
"Where are you going?" She asked with a frown.
"Nowhere. Go do that for me, baby. And I'll come up and run you a bath. And give you a massage. And braid your hair." I hummed in her ear.
"Yes sir."
"Such a good girl. Go on." I let go of her hands and nodded my head towards the stairs.
She wished my mother a good night and I sat down on the sofa.
"You seem to have a lot on your mind." My mom said.
"Kendall is really stressed out with the wedding planning." I sighed, "and I'm not being much help. I'm failing her and it's taking a toll."
"You're not failing. This is new. To both of you. And guess what? This will happen again. One of you will spend more time doing something for the both of you, then get stressed, then.. it'll be okay." She smiled. "Marriage doesn't start with vows. It started when you asked her to marry you. The beautiful thing about life, is that we are all doing it for the first time. Bumps in the road happens."
