A/N: Sorry for taking so long to update! I wrote a few parts yesterday and it took me ages to pick my favourite! Please enjoy! (This is in Natasha's point of view)

Boots were not the best choice today. Clint trudges ahead of me through the hay and gravel. I sigh as I take off my boot and shake the contents out for the fifth time in ten minutes. "When you said we were seeing someone very special, I didn't think you meant an animal." I groan, pulling off my cable knit jumper due to the blistering heat. "Not just an animal, lots of animals!" Clint says enthusiastically. "Where are all the families with kids? I thought this is where parents take their children on the weekend?" I swipe my sweaty forehead with my hands and run them down my polo shirt. "It's not a visiting farm, you aren't allowed in." Clint answers my question. I don't think to ask him why we're hear, I just want to get back in the car.

Clint pushes open a gate and three lambs rush up to him. "Where's their mom?" I'm curious, why would a mother leave her children? The absence of a big sheep shocks me. "She died, a car hit her." Clint says pulling a bottle full of milk out of his backpack. He sets the first lamb down on his leg and bottle feeds it. He holds it carefully, but tightly so it can't run away. "Can I?" I suggest. Clint nods and tells me to sit down. He picks up another lamb and passes it to me. Clints brought two bottles, which means I have to feed it. I don't know how to hold it, or how to feed it. I look up at Clint and try to copy what he's doing. He puts the lamb down and comes over to help me, moving my hands into the position his were in. His skin is smooth and warm against mine, making me feel safe. Clint feeds two lambs at the same time, to be honest I didn't think he liked animals. When there's a spider in the bath he kicks and screams until I move it, and when we were out at the park and a butterfly landed on his arm he screamed louder than a two year old. I smile warmly, feeling all motherly all of a sudden.

"If visitors aren't allowed in here, than how are we?" I ask on the walk back to the car. The hay in my shoes and the heat on my neck doesn't bother me anymore. It was worth it. Clint gulps. "This is my farm." He stops in his tracks to look at me. My mouth gapes open. "We did not discuss this!" I shout. Clint shakes his head. "I got it before we started seeing each other." I'm furious, I feel like a volcano has exploded inside. "Why keep this a secret from me?!" Clint starts to walk again, I catch up quickly. "There wasn't a right time, and considering it's our anniversary I wanted to show you." I don't feel as angry as I felt a couple of minutes ago. This is my anniversary present. "This is ours." He speaks slowly. I rub my hand down my thigh and give up. I can't stay mad at him. "This is for you." He speaks again.

I hug him tight, my fingers gripping his shirt. "Really?" I ask not believing what just happened. He nods whilst smiling. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you before. I was saving it for now." His voice makes my insides melt. A tear slides down my cheek, followed by another, and another, until I'm practically crying out the ocean. "Thank you." I sniff. Thinking of those lambs that I can look after and help bring up makes me feel a great sense of appreciation. "Want to go back to the car?" Clint asks me, holding my hand. I shake my head. "Can we see the lambs again?"
