A/N: first of all, will wood is gorgeous 🙁🙁 second of all, I hope this makes up for cockblocking y'all 🤗 This chapter is very sudden. But i need to spice things up so don't mind me just...
He bit you. He. Fucking. Bit. You.
On your collarbone, a faint mark was left. Concealable in public, yet you preferred to cruise around your own home in off-shoulder tees. What would your mother say if she saw this?
It stung like hell, too.
You were just glad he hadn't left his marks all over your neck, And, well, other places.
You didn't full on fuck, no, but you were sure that was his plan.
"Will- Ah!"
A wave of pain immediately coursed through your body, causing you to gasp out loud. You slightly tilted your head and your eyes landed upon a fresh bite mark that was now seeping scarlet liquid from its opening, trickling down your body.
Your uniform, once a symbol of your profession, lay discarded, leaving you shivering at the sensation of warm liquid running down your bare, cold skin. Your trembling gaze landed back upon William, but eye contact with him didn't last for long. With a swift motion, he bent down and savored the oozing goop straight from the source.
You let out a meek whimper as another wave of pain electrocuted throughout your body, causing your muscles to tense and your skin to break out in goosebumps. William, however, seemed to be enjoying your discomfort. He let out a breathy chuckle at the sound of your whimper, his eyes glinting with a sadistic pleasure. You couldn't understand why he took so much pleasure in causing you pain, but one thing was certain - you were at his mercy.
The worst thing was that you weren't even sure you liked him. You weren't sure you were into this kink of his, and yet he derived pleasure from seeing you suffer. It was as if he enjoyed the pain he inflicted upon you. You couldn't help but feel a sense of confusion and unease. You had always known there was something off about that guy.
He was like a feral dog that needed to be put on a leash - no, chained to a pole. But then again, your life was boring as hell. Nothing interesting ever happened, and getting with him may just have given you a stronger will to live. It was as if he held the key to a world of excitement and pleasure, even if it meant enduring some pain along the way. You couldn't help but feel drawn to him, despite the fear and uncertainty that his presence brought. Perhaps it was the thrill of the unknown that kept you coming back for more.
"I'm gonna end up killing myself by accident, somehow."
"You're what now?" A muffled, but amused voice spoke causing you to swiftly turn around and let out a shrill screech before stumbling into the wall behind you. That was when you realised the door was still closed, and your rapidly beating heart slowed down. You exhaled a large breath, gripping onto your shirt in disdain. "God damn you, Val!" That's right. Val. It was currently five thirty PM, and you were fixing your disheveled appearance up. Val had messaged you an hour prior to ask if you wanted to get food with her, which you didn't turn down. It was free food, so why not?
"You've been in there for thirty minutes, my dear. Come out now," Val said, shaking the door handle with vigor. You let out an exaggerated groan before responding, "Alright, alright." As you unlocked the door, it swung open to let you be tackled by your friend.
As you lay on the bathroom tiles, you gasped in surprise, the air knocked out of your lungs. "What the hell, Val!" you exclaimed, your voice strained with pain. Val sat up, giggling with amusement, and offered you a hand. You accepted it, allowing yourself to be pulled up again.
"Let's just go already!"

You and Val were sitting at a restaurant, poring over the menu. You squinted at the options and exclaimed, "Damn, this food is boring." Val agreed, closing the menu and sliding it to the side to rest her arms on the clothed table. The restaurant wasn't anything fancy, but it was nice. You closed your menu as well and sighed.
"Listen," Val started, looking nervous. "There's something I've gotta tell you. It's pretty important." She let out a deep breath, and you only nodded, anticipating the news. Val had never been the one to talk about serious things, so when she did, it always piqued your interest.
"I think I might be in love with you," Val said, her voice barely above a whisper. Your heart skipped a beat, and you felt your face flush. You had always been close with Val, but you had never thought of her in a romantic way.
Before you could respond, a waiter interrupted. "Excuse me, are you ready to order?" he asked, holding out his notepad and pen.
You looked at Val, who looked flustered and embarrassed. "Uh, we need a few more minutes," you said, trying to buy time. The waiter nodded and took the menus from the table before walking away.
You turned back to Val, who was still looking at her hands. "I don't know what to say," you replied, your voice barely above a whisper. Val looked up at you, her eyes wide with fear and hope. You took a deep breath and continued. "I care about you a lot, but I don't know if I feel the same way."
Val nodded, looking down at her hands. "I understand," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "I just wanted to be honest with you."
You reached out and took her hand, squeezing it gently. "Thank you for being honest with me," you said, smiling. "I care about you a lot, and I always will."
Val smiled back at you, tears glistening in her eyes. "I care about you too," she said, squeezing your hand back. "I always will."
William's POV
The voice was muffled, a distant murmur in the chaotic symphony around me. I sat there, staring at my rough hands, unsure if it was sadness or fury that made them shake. The voices of others were like a foreign language, their words lost in the noise.
"Dad," my son said, his voice breaking through the haze. I looked up, my eyes focusing on his face. He put down his menu, his expression one of confusion. "Is everything okay?" he asked, his voice gentle.
I snapped out of my trance, my gaze shifting from my hands to my son. "What?" I snapped, my anger spilling out.
"You were just... Staring at your hands. Lizzy and Evan went to the play area, so you're free to talk." The small boy in front of me sounded out. I couldn't tell him. But then again, who else did i have? It's not like he'll have the courage to tell anyone else.
"I just heard Y/N's friend confessing to her." I said, my face contorting into a grimace. Michael seemed even more confused by this, before he hesitantly replied. "Um.. And?" He mumbled, taking a sip of his soda. "And?!" I whisper-yelled. "And?! She's supposed to be mine!" I got up into his face, my whole body trembling. "Only mine!"
Michael recoiled slightly, and i huffed before sitting back down into my chair. A few moments later, a waitress arrived with a pen and a notepad.
