Chapter 1 The beginning (New world arc)

Aphmau's POV
I was laying on the ground feeling lightheaded and dizzy I got up and looked around realizing that I wasn't in Scaleswind anymore but I was in the middle of a forest.

"How did I get here?" I wondered. The last thing I remember was I leaving O'kasis and as soon I crossed the other side of the bridge I passed out.

"Oh well I should at least get some wood and build a crafting table."

I started to collect some oak wood from any oak that I could find or any in my sight. It took me hours to get some wood when finally I got enough wood for not just a crafting table but also for other materials like weapons. I started getting my crafting table set up when all of a sudden I heard a strange noise from the bushes. My instincts told that I should run just in case it's a wild animal but I decided not to listen and go closer.

"Hello is anyone there?" I called out

Just then a guy jumped out of the bush and started to run away I couldn't get good look at him.

"Hey get back here!" I shouted after him. I started to follow him to see if I can find a village. After following I was out of breath and he was nowhere to be found for a minute I thought I was going to pass out that is until I looked up and saw a village. Maybe today was my lucky day after all...

As I made my way to the village I saw two guards in the distance one of them had a helmet on and armor while the other one had guard armor and a helmet that was his entire head except the middle of his face.

"Halt who goes there!?" A voice shouted

"Uh hi mine is Aphmau and I was hoping to stay here at your village." I said smiling

"And how do we know your not a spy from a enemy village?" The guard ask pointing his sword at me.

"Zenix stop that!" The other guard shouted, Zenix put his sword down but looked disproving.

"Garroth after the death of our lord everyone in this village has lost trust in the guards there even starting to blame you for the fire staring." Zenix said

"Wait your name is Garroth?" I asked wondering if it was actually him.

"Uh yeah why?" He asked

"It's just nevermind." I said maybe it wasn't him just then a girl with gold blond hair, blue eyes, and lightly tan skin came near us her ears were a bit pointy and was carrying a teal sword with her.

"Zenix don't start abusing the villagers and please leave the girl alone." The girl said

"Zoey I thought you were on patrol duty on the area." Garroth said

"Yeah well we were supposed to change right now but you guys didn't come." Zoey said

"Who's that?" I asked

"I'm Zoey Taltatheil I'm a guard here and I'm the only female guard here." Zoey said

"Okay for the last damn time I'm not abusing nobody and technically I'm a higher rank then you." Zenix said to Zoey

"I'm No.3 your only 1 rank higher then me since your No.2 and Garroth is head guard and No.1." Zoey said

"What type of sword is that?" I asked pointing at the sword

"Oh well when my swordsmith was in India he was inspired by the urami sword so when came back he crafted a urami sword which is like whip but more flexible and bendable." She said
