Blyana was sea sick when they docked. She felt very much like Viserys which was something she didnt want to feel like ever but they both were brought to bed, lucky for her she could use the I have to nurse my baby excuse since Lucia was still suckling from her breast, two years old and she cried for it every night. Larys would too if he were deprived of Blyana.
Larys stood with Teo while Bellamy and Lucia stayed with Blyana hoping the nausea and dizziness passed in time for the ceremony.
Otto held out a tincture he required from the maesters and Blyana took it right away, he pressed a kiss to her forehead taking Bellamy from the bed as Lucia was snuggly tucked into Blyana's arm."She was younger than you Blyana." Otto whispered stroking her cheek. "I can't imagine life without you." Blyana hugged him tight.
"I'm so glad you are coming back daddy." Blyana whispered against him. "I dont know how we survived without you."
"Come, we should pay our respects." Otto remarked kissing her forehead again. SHe nodded taking his hand before finding Larys, she fit perfectly in his side. Otto felt proud to be back, he wore the pin with pride.
''We join today at the seat of the sea to commit the lady Laena of house Valeryon to the eternal waters and domination of the Merling king where he will guard her for all her days to come as she sets to see for final voyage the lady Laena leaves to true born daughters on the shore though their mother will not return from her voyage they will all remain bound together in blood salt courses through velaryon blood. Ours runs thick. Ours runs true. And ours must never thin.'' Damon chuckled at that. And at that her casket was sent into the waters. Blyana met his gaze and he winked back at her. Blyana was sure Daemon didnt know who she was, but either way, this was his wifes funeral, he shouldnt have been laughing. What was the matter with him?
''My gentleness may the winds be as strong as your back you were sees as calm as your spirit and your nets be as full as your heart. From the sea we came. The sea we shall return.'' Daemon's daughters stood with their grandmother while Daemon was impatient to get on with it.
"Dont ever die." Blyana whispered as the crowd dispersed. "And if I die before you, cry for me."
"I will be weeping for moons." Larys declared.
"Daemon laughed, he didnt shed a tear, his girls are distraught and he's... he's..." Blyana couldnt think of a vile enough word to describe Daemon Targaryen.
"I know my love, street clear from him." Larys agreed.
''Have you seen your father?'' Rhaenyra asked coming up to Jace. ''Your little cousins have lost their mother. They could use a kind word.'' Rhaenyra offered glancing to Daemon's daughters.
''I have an equal claim to sympathy.'' Jace countered.
''Jace.''
''We should be at Harrenhal, mourning Lord Lyonel and Ser Harwin.'' Jace countered.
''It would not be appropriate. The Velaryons are our kin and the Strongs are not.'' Rhaenyra reminded him, Jace scoffed. ''Look at me. Do you understand?'' Rhaenyra looked to Larys and Blyana, they had a right to grieve Harwin and yet they were here. Rhaenyra wanted to shake them both, punch them both, burn Larys instead. Get Harwin back.
''Hand turns loom; spool of green, spool of black; dragons of flesh weaving dragons of thread. Hand turns loom; spool of green..." Helaena remarked finding a spider on the ground she eased it into her hand
''We have nothing in common.'' Aegon scoffed downing his drink.
"She's a girl, we dont have things in common with girls." Teo agreed not knowing what they were talking about.
''She's our sister.'' Aemond reminded him.
"She's my cousin." Teo agreed wanting to be a big kid.
''You marry her, then.'' Aegon sneered grabbing another drink.
"Marry her?" Teo declared looking to Daeron. "But she's just a kid, so are you!"
"It's stupid." Daeron agreed. "Hela is a weirdo though." Daeron whispered.
''I would perform my duty, if mother had only betrothed us.'' Aemond said obediently.
''If only.'' Aegon said with a scoff.
"Daeron, I want a cookie!" Bellamy declared.
"Then get a cookie." Daeron agreed.
"I'm too short, I can't reach the table." Bellamy corrected. "My legs are too little."
"Okay, okay," Daeron agreed. "Did Auntie Bly say you could have a cookie?"
"It's a funeral I'm supposed to be sad, let me have another cookie." Bellamy corrected.
"Fair enough." Daeron agreed. Lucia chased after them.
''It would strengthen the family. Keep our Valyrian blood pure.'' Aemond reminded Aegon.
''She's an idiot.'' Aegon corrected.
''She's your future queen.'' Aemond retorted.
''We actually do have one thing in common. We both fancy creatures with very long legs.'' Aegon mused with a chuckle as he walked off, leaving Aemond to sneer at him hatred. ''Wench! Another!'' Aegon declared clasping his hands together joyously.
''Aegon.'' Aemond hissed
''...dragon's flesh, weaving dragons of thread." Helaena went on trapping the spider between her hand and a geode. Helaena smiled back at Aemond.
"Keep that spider on the beach, if you bring a spider back on the boat Amah will jump ship." Aemond warned.
"I wasnt going to keep it." Helaena corrected.
"Yes you were." Aemond countered.
"Maybe just while we are here so I can examine it." Helaena agreed peering into her hands.
"You should be studying at the citadel Helaena." Blyana remarked coming up to them.
"Could I do that?" Helaena countered.
"My family are the protectors of the citadel." Blyana remarked. "House Hightower, so your family is protectors of it, I wish I had thought of it sooner now that father is back I dont see a reason to leave." Blyana offered. "But its in old town, its beautiful building."
"You have been?" Helaena questioned.
"Many times, the books are beautiful, so much to learn, Larys would like it too." Blyana remarked.
"We could go and i could study bugs?" Helaena questioned. "Insects of all sorts?"
"I think I can get your mother to agree."
''Lyonel Strong's son's is here and not Harenhall." Criston noted.
"Pile of rubble, he didnt want Blyana and the kids breathing in the smoke." Alicent offered. ''After all Larys is the new Lord of Harrenhal. He knows best about that place.''
''Your girls are the very image of their mother.'' Viserys remarked ''A comfort and an anguish, as I well remember.'' Viserys added. ''The gods can be cruel.''
''It seems they've been especially cruel to you.'' Daemon remarked and Viserys chuckled.
''Yes.'' He agreed ''You should return with us to King's Landing. It's time that you came home.'' Viserys insisted
''Pentos is my home... and that of my children.'' Daemon corrected as they walked the shores.
''Daemon... I know we've had our differences, but let them pass with the years. There's a place for you in my court if that's something you should need.'' Viserys said softly.
''I need... nothing.'' Daemon corrected.
''Brother." Viserys begged as he passed.
''I'm sorry for your loss, my Prince.'' Otto offered kindly but knew Daemon had no heart.
''No matter how fat the leech grows, it always wants for another meal.'' Daemon sneered as he passed.
Daemon looked to Blyana as she watched the waves crash into the shores and Larys wasnt quick enough to stop daemon from setting his sights on her.
