"A Master of Whispers can't give up his spies, Your Grace. You know that." Larys stepped toward alicent, the stepped seemed aggressive somewhat by his club foot. "You were seen in the garden just yesterday. Ser Criston kissed your hand." Larys reminded her and Alicent looked around.

"He kissed my ring." Alicent corrected but she knew it was a lie and clearly so did larys. She could have sworn that no one but Criston and her lug viserys were there.

"I'm told it looked romantic. Deeper connection." Larys offered with a shrug.

"My husband was present. How romantic could it possibly have been?" Alicent corrected. Alicent always hated how the Red Keep had eyes everywhere. How Larys knew absolutely everything.

"I've heard rumors," he answered vaguely, alicent wanted blyana here she was the one that would say yes yes go for it kiss the handsome guard your husband is a dunce.

"Of what?" Alicent mused.

"That you are overly familiar with your sworn protector." Larys offered gently.

"I don't know who your informant is, but he's wrong," Alicent snapped back. "Who is he, anyway?"

"The king doesn't see much, does he? He never has." Larys went on when Blyana approached.

"That sounds suspiciously like treason, my lord." Alicent sneered.

"Whats going on?" Blyana demanded, larys wrapped a hand around waist.

"Apologies, Your Grace." Larys answered as blyana looked between them. "Though you ought to be happy for your husband's blindness."

"Oh are we talking about criston!" Blyana realized and alicent relaxed slightly. Larys wasnt interrogating her he was trying to help surely. Protect her. She was family to him too.

"It allows you to carry on your... dalliances in secret." Larys offered gently.

"What dalliances?" Alicent corrected. "I've had only one since I married Viserys, and that one wasn't of my choosing!" She reminded him. "I was 15 when I was married off. Im not like Rhaenyra." She snapped back.

"Larys stop being so shady about it." Blyana interrupted. "I knew you would say it wrong when it comes to Alicent." She said sweetly. "What he meant was if you love criston then we are happy but people talk and we will protect you so you can stay happy" blyana assured. Alicent looked between them.

"You have a way with words." Larys agreed kissing blyanas temple.

"My husband married me for convenience and company..." alicent whispered as Blyana moved to her sisters side. "He... he sometimes calls me by his old queen's name, his first love sometimes you know... Aemma." Alicent felt a bitterness lodge in her chest. She didnt love viserys like blyana loved larys but she loved him like family. She tended to him for years treated him had a gentle touch as he said but viserys never loved Alicent. Couldnt love her.

"Aemma was his great love, I'm only her replacement." Alicent reminded them.

"I didn't think you love the king." Larys remarked and blyana whacked him.

"I think its a different kind of love." Blyana offered. "A caring a sweet nature you have towards him when he doesnt deserve it," blyana offered but alicent thought about it.

"I don't know. I dont know that i do or if i ever will but it's bitter to know that you will never have the fullness of your husband's love. That he will always prefer a shadow, a ghost and a memory to a living breathing girl." Alicent reminded them. "I sacrificed everything for him: my youth, my future, my body. He took all that and he never even wanted me that much. Yet I gave him everything."

"Because father demanded it." Blyana whispered and alicent nodded.

"You were always lucky Bly," alicent whispered. "You were always lucky."

"I didnt feel lucky when i was lying in bed unable to move. When everyone thought i was the girl that cried wolf wanting attention after mother passed... i dont feel lucky when im lying in bed pain running through me and no maester to tell me there is an end game to this pain. That is just goes on forever and ever." Blyana countered. "But I would pick my life over yours." Larys reached out for her kissing her temple.

"I would pick your life too." Alicent agreed. "Because I will never be in love like you two."
