Blyana had danced herself dizzy with Larys at Helaena and Aegon's wedding and what started off as this is going to be the worst day of their lives turned into smiles as Aegon spun Helaena around.
They drank too much and Blyana didnt think they ever got to the bedding but they laughed so much, like children should do every day. Laugh.
They got to be kids, drinking, dancing and shoving their faces in cake. Blyana looked to Alicent that night and saw happy tears on her face. She wasnt ruining her children's lives they could be happy together.
"I think I'm still drunk." Alicent remarked leaning into Blyana.
"It was last fortnight." Blyana corrected.
"I didnt stop drinking." Alicent countered.
"Ali whats wrong?" Blyana questioned touching her sisters cheek.
"Weddings bring out the worst in me, I was so worried about keeping Helaena away from Jace that I just rushed them and then seeing them happy and dancing, smiling laughing, I just... it made me wonder." Alicent whimpered. "What if I got the chance to be in love, who would I be? Where would I be?"
"You wouldnt have four of the most wonderful kids." Blyana remarked. "Sure no Viserys but no Aemond," Blyana reminded her knowing Aemond was her favorite.
"To be in love, I would have different children, I would have a different life, I... I didnt want a bedding for them." Alicent reminded Blyana.
"That was smart, and kind." Blyana agreed.
"I hate beddings, I hated my bedding. Father... he knew he couldnt stop it, it was the king. Some things had to be done when it came to the king. But I wanted him to shout stop, to protect me then... you think they will be okay? Be friends at the least?" ALicent questioned holding onto Blyana's hands.
"I think they are going to be okay. They will be friends because they are family, they have both grown and when Helaena has a child she will be a mother and Aegon, a father. It will strengthen their relationship as well. Hold their smiles in your mind." Blyana requested. "Hear their laughter when you close your eyes."

"Lord Strong?" Ser Criston appeared, blocking Larys's view of Blyana."Ser Criston. How is the lesson going?" Larys smiled, wishing he could tell Criston to fuck off he was busy admiring his wife.
"It has concluded. You'd know that if you'd been watching." Criston countered. Larys looked around seeing the training yard cleared out.
"Oh? My mind must have wandered." Larys's eye slide past Criston and back to the entrance towards Blyana. Lucia stood in front of her blabbering happily.
"You are a lucky man."
Words Larys never thought anyone would say to him before he met Blyana.
"WHy is that?" Larys questioned.
"You have a family that loves you." Criston remarked nodding to Blyana and ALicent.
"I most certainly do... how did Teo do today?" Larys pondered.
"He is a fast learner, he..." Criston choked out a laugh. "His fighting style reminds me of your brother actually." Criston admitted and Larys clenched his jaw. "The way he moves, Bellamy has noodle arms now but dont worry, he is young."
It was going to be Harwin and Larys all over again, Teo was already taller at 8, had smoldering good looks, quite good with the blade and always wanting to train.
Bellamy was more Lary's book buddy, playing with figurines and jumping off couches with Lucia when he wasnt chasing after Teo.
"Matteo was actually asking when he can start competing, I told him not for another few years at the earliest but he had to run it by Blyana."
"Heavens, she won't want him competing." Larys corrected. "I dont want him competing."
"I hear you, but one day he is going to want to be a knight, I can see it now. He is my most diligent student, He is always the first one here and the last one to leave, just like Prince Aemond." Criston remarked.
"That does sound like Harwin." Larys grumbled.
"You ever use a blade larys?"
"I know the idea of it. Stick them with the point end." Larys assured.
"If you ever want to learn, I'm happy to help... a friend."
