"I would like to order the Porter House Steak with mash potatoes, and mushroom gravy, a glass of Zinfandel as well," I smiled at the pretty waitress as she smiled back at me.
Yes every weh mi carry mi batty gyal self. What about it?
The evening was stunning with clear skies and a refreshing breeze. We found ourselves sitting in a lavish private room, which was a part of a sophisticated restaurant that I knew was beyond my financial means. The atmosphere was posh and luxurious, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe and wonder as I looked around the room.

Why am I here you may ask?
We were gathered to celebrate Asia-Marie's 20th birthday, and I felt a twinge of nervousness as I glanced around at the guest list. The table was filled with her parents and our tight-knit circle of friends, including Liam, Milly, Heidi, ZJ, and Tamia. Despite everyone appearing to be at ease, I couldn't shake the feeling that I was the outsider among them. However, I was pleased to discover that Asia-Marie's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Findley, were exceptionally gracious hosts, and they generously covered the entire table's bill, eliminating any financial worry for me.
Once we had placed our orders, I leaned back in my seat and engaged in the discussion with the girls, while the boys chatted amongst themselves, and Asia-Marie's parents conversed in their own little world. We were all engrossed in our respective conversations, enjoying the warm ambiance of the room and the delectable aromas emanating from the kitchen.
I sensed a gaze fixed on me, and I immediately recognized the perpetrator. This had been going on for a few weeks now; he would steal brief glances at me or stare intently in my direction. It was disconcerting, and I couldn't help but wonder why he was doing it. Was it admiration, curiosity, or something else entirely? I tried to shake off the unease and refocus on the conversation, but his gaze lingered in my mind, and I found it hard to concentrate.
It's been hard to concentrate since we left the tiny waterfall a few weeks ago, his words have been stuck in my mind making me blush at random moments throughout the day. Apart from the occasional stares, he has gone back to barely acknowledging me and it's kinda frustrating to be honest.
