SEPARATION TIMELINE PART 1

Note
This chapter will contain wlw scenes, that shouldn't be a surprise as there are WLW tags on the book lol and Happy Pride Month🌈. Also it's important to pay attention to the dates of each area to understand the timeline of the story. I was unable to update the previous even day so today will be a double update to make up for that. Happy reading - Cici💜

"The price for this property is $3.5 million when it closed."

I checked out the outside of the house, and I gotta admit, it's really beautiful. But I'm wondering if India will like it.

I've made up my mind to leave Cherry Gardens, and I want to ask India to come live with me. She's been wanting to get out of her current place because it's pretty dangerous, and now that Mateo is moving too, she doesn't want to be there all alone. Her lease is almost up, but she doesn't plan on renewing it; Instead, she's on the lookout for another apartment. I've been itching for a change of scenery too, so I think I'll sell or rent out my current house and ask her to move in with me at the new place.

"Mrs. Reese, this is the best one you've shown me so far. I think this might just be it," Mrs. Reese is my dad's realtor, and I'm borrowing her for a bit.

I hopped in my car and headed back to campus 'cause I had class coming up soon.

"Hey Zaire, do you think your dad is hiring?" I asked.

Zaire was sitting at the desk, engrossed in coding for his assignment, while I lounged on the bed, scrolling through Indeed in search of job opportunities. I needed to start earning money to afford a better place to live.

"Why don't you ask him yourself? He seems to really like you," he replied. He pulled out his phone, searching for his dad's contact. Nonchalantly, he tossed the phone onto the bed in my direction before returning his focus to his coding. I caught the phone mid-air, a smile tugging at the corners of my lips. Rolling my eyes at Zaire's remark, I couldn't deny that his father has always been welcoming towards me. I composed a message and sent it, inquiring about potential job openings.
