Yuh know tiad???

At this moment, I find myself in a state of confusion and mental disarray as I struggle to complete an essay that is due tomorrow at 11:59pm. I've been grappling with the introduction for the past hour, feeling lost and unsure of how to start. The stress I'm experiencing is difficult to put into words, and I'm also dealing with feelings of sexual frustration. Additionally, my 'boyfriend' has seemingly disappeared from my life, seemingly enjoying himself while I'm trapped in a cycle of sadness and anger.

Upon returning home from the club, both Polly and I quickly fell asleep as soon as we entered the apartment. We avoided discussing what had occurred during our time at the club, but there remained an underlying tension whenever we were in close proximity, further intensifying my feelings of sexual frustration.

With a frustrated exhale, I rose from my desk and made the decision to take a break, seeking a drink to clear my mind before returning to my work. I descended the stairs and entered the kitchen, though I almost turned around immediately upon seeing her. Polly was perched on the kitchen counter, dressed in sweatpants and a sports bra, engrossed in her phone with a bottled drink in hand. I briefly contemplated leaving, but since she had already spotted me, I proceeded into the kitchen and headed towards the refrigerator.

"Why yuh suh tense?" She asked, looking directly at me before taking a sip out of the bottle.

"Nothing, just school work a kill mi man, nothing too serious," I replied leaning against the island and sipping the mango juice front my cup.

"Ohh," she responded, her attention returning to her phone. I proceeded to wash the cup and started to leave the kitchen when her voice halted me once more. "I can help with that if you want," she offered.

"Help with the essay?" I clarified.

"Hmm," she affirmed.

"Okay, thank you," I accepted her assistance.

She hopped off the counter, disposing of her bottle, and followed me up to my room. Returning to my chair, I resumed my position while she settled herself on my bed, reading the instructions for the essay. After a short while, she approached me and stood behind my chair, placing her hands on my shoulders, examining the mediocre content I had managed to write so far.

"You're making great progress," she encouraged me, her voice filled with support. With a gentle touch, she guided my hand back to the keyboard while resting her own hands on my shoulders, providing a comforting sensation.
