Hello, my dear readers.

I'd like to share some thoughts and concerns here as I conclude this book. For years, I've been attempting to write a full book without success until now. I've written numerous books in the past, but I had to unpublish them because I couldn't update them regularly due to external factors. However, this time, I had the right motivation to finish this book.

I always knew this story wouldn't exceed 50 chapters, as I believe no book should be excessively long. I prefer concise narratives and hope this didn't give the impression of being rushed.

My primary motivation for creating this book was to write a Jamaican story that breaks away from the focus on gun violence. I noticed a lack of variety in the Jamaican category on Wattpad, with most top books revolving around gang members, leaders, 'bad man', 'scamma', artists, and other repetitive themes. This frustration pushed me to create my own alternative, a book that explores anything but gun violence.

Interestingly, this book initially started as a journal entry, and many of the events you're reading about are based on my own life experiences, although dramatized for storytelling purposes.

Writing this book was an enjoyable experience, and I aimed to make it as accurate and believable as possible, while adding elements of fiction to keep it exciting. The feedback, comments, and votes from readers have been a tremendous source of motivation, and I am truly grateful for all the support. Thank you so much.

I have another story in progress titled "Against All Odds," which will be published later on in the year. I'm hopeful that it will receive a similar positive reception as this one did.

A special shout-out goes to my dear Kayla, who encouraged me to publish this story and has been supporting me since the beginning. Love you💜

Once again, thank you all, and please follow me for updates on any upcoming books etc.💜.
