"Audrey, are you out here?" Rafe yelled a little calmer this time.

Audrey took a deep breath and looked at Kiara with wide eyes.

She stood up and walked out of the cabin, looking out for Rafe. He wasn't on the side of the boat that she thought he was.

She peered around the cabin and saw him swear and chuck something angrily in the water. He was standing up on the wave runner, in a t-shirt and bathing suit.

She sighed when she saw him, the moonlight illuminating him perfectly.

"Rafe." She breathed out and he looked over, letting a breath out and relaxing his shoulders.

"Jesus, Audrey." He groaned. "You need to make some new friends."

She nodded and Kiara came out after her.

"Come on, Audrey, I'm taking you home." Rafe motioned for her to get over to him as he maneuvered the wave runner right up to the edge of the boat.

"Can I come, too?" Kiara asked quietly.

"No." Rafe said upsetly.

Audrey nervously looked at Kiara, who started ushering her to go.

"I don't have time for this. Get on, Audrey." Rafe said with annoyance.

Audrey almost pulled Kiara with her, but decided she wouldn't let Kiara go near Rafe ever again. Not after what she'd said.

Audrey swallowed and got on the wave runner hesitantly. She had no idea what time it was. It felt like she was sitting on the boat all night.

She sat behind Rafe, carefully putting her hands over him.

"Fuck, your hands are so cold." Rafe hissed at Audrey.

"Well, what would you expect? It's not like we had blankets and a cozy campfire." She said sarcastically.

"I'm serious, Audrey, you're freezing." He said nervously. "God, your friends are so dumb."

She laughed a little at him. "I know. Where are we going?"

"I'm taking you home?" He said like she was stupid.

"No dinner?" She asked sadly.

"It's past dinner time. Plus, you should sleep." He explained. "And you're cold. I'll make you something back at your house."

She had no idea what he was thinking. Hopefully he wasnt mad, but he seemed irritated.

"How did you know where to find me?" She asked quietly.

"Well, when you didn't respond to my texts I went to your house." He complained. "Your mom said you never came back from your boat ride with Pope." He increased the speed through the marsh, she grew colder with the harsh winds. "She saw you were at John B's, so I went there and sure enough, the three idiots were there."

She couldn't help but smile. They were sort of idiots... weren't they?

Rafe tied on to Audrey's dock and walked with her inside, rubbing her shoulders up and down to warm her up.

"Where was she?" Mrs. Bennett asked from the couch. She had her feet kicked up on the coffee table as she sipped on a beer, her husband right beside her.

Rafe pushed Audrey gently down the hallway so she could go upstairs and get into some warm clothes.

"Her idiot friends kidnapped her." Rafe said angrily.

Mr Bennett took a big breath with a small smile and held out a beer for Rafe. "You look like you could use one."

Rafe scoffed through a laugh and eagerly took the beer, sitting beside her dad while he waited for Audrey to come down.
