Audrey slowly got herself out of bed, feeling a headache from all of the crying and lack of movement in the past twenty four hours.
She carefully stepped in the shower and washed it all off of her. Everything that had happened in the past few days. She washed him off. She cleaned extra hard where he'd touched her last—her legs and waist.
She couldn't even bear to think too hard about it. She felt silly being so upset, what did she honestly expect? It was well known Rafe had trouble with loyalty, she just figured that if he'd been with her for two months that it wouldn't have happened. Why was she so naive to think she'd been able to change him? Why did she vouch so hard that he was better than everyone said?
But if he loved her like he said he did, she couldn't even begin to comprehend it all.
And now what? What was she supposed to do with herself? Being with Sarah or Kelce would only bring memories of Rafe. But being with the pogues would remind her of when JJ cheated, and that of course wouldn't be anything good for her.
Why did she have the worst luck with guys?
She looked through her closet for something to wear, but started crying again when she saw the shelf with all of his clothes neatly folded on it.
