"So I take it you and Rafe are okay?" Kelce asked.
Audrey looked over at the door Nathan just left through.
The group was out shopping. Sarah and Topper, Kelce, Nathan and Audrey. It was two days later—Rafe left early the day earlier, not before kissing her forehead goodbye and leaving her a small hand-written note on his empty bed beside her, which she later brought home and hung up on her wall that had begun to be taken over by Rafe things.
Nathan had gone to the fitting rooms, meaning Kelce could say whatever he wanted.
"What makes you think that?" Audrey asked, pushing through the racks of clothes.
"The giant hickey on your neck." Kelce explained like she was stupid.
"Who says that was Rafe?" She shrugged teasingly and pulled out a dress she liked. "Yeah, we made up."
"Are you sad that he's gone?" Kelce asked.
"Yeah." She shrugged.
"I'm glad he's gone." Topper said seriously from behind them and they turned around with confused looks. "I'm serious. I think he'd kill me for being here with you."
"Probably." Audrey nodded. She'd been checking her phone all day, seeing if Rafe texted.
He never told her he'd text her but she was just curious. She wanted to hear from him.
"I'm going to go try this on." Audrey held up the dress and pointed to the rooms.
She slipped it on and realized there wasn't even a mirror in the mini stall, so went out to the main area and posed in the mirror.
"Hot." Sarah squealed.
"Pose." Kelce ordered and held out his phone like he was taking a picture.
Audrey wordlessly posed and put her hands on her hips as Kelce snapped the photo. "Where's that going?"
"To your man." Kelce explained as he typed some things into his phone.
"Kelce gets to know but I don't?" Nathan said irritably from inside the stall.
"Nathan knows?" Kelce asked curiously and she heard the noise his phone made when the text was sent.
"He doesn't know who." Audrey explained seriously and heard her phone buzz.
She went quickly to the dressing room and grabbed her phone.

Rafe didn't respond for a couple of minutes and she took the time to change out of the dress and back into her old clothes. She came back out and sat beside Kelce as they watched Nathan pose in the mirror.
