You've been working extra hard lately. From late night studying to working overtime just to pay for your tuition and apartment, you're burning yourself out without giving yourself a proper break. Not to mention the one-sided feelings you have for a certain somebody have been stressing you out too. Your idea of a "break" is laying on your bed staring at the ceiling for 15 minutes. Obviously that isn't healthy for you. But it's nothing coffee can't fix.

Seungkwan, being the angel in your life that he is, invited you out for drinks. Since he's your best friend he knows about the stresses in your life and thought having a drink would help calm your nerves. Plus, Seungkwan knew your crush was going to be at the bar he invited you out to. He picked you up at your apartment and the two of you headed straight to the bar.

Your eyes instantly locked on Chan when you entered the bar. You had no idea he was going to be there so you shot Seungkwan a glare while he winked deviously at you. Your attention quickly shifted when Chan walked up to you and hugged you. You sucked in gasp when his arms wrapped around you.

"It's great to see you, yn." Chan let you go and smiled.

"Uh, yeah. You too." You tucked a strand of hair behind your ear and blushed.

You've known Seungkwan and Chan for a few years, ever since high school. It was amazing to find out the three of you chose the same university later on down the road. You grew much closer to Seungkwan than you did Chan but you also grew a major crush on Chan over the years. Seungkwan knew about it but never told Chan.

All throughout the night you glanced over at Chan wherever he was. Whether he was talking with his friend group, standing at the bar to get another drink, or just mingling with people in general. Your eyes were always drawn to him. He was so happy-go-lucky and easy to talk to, it made you envious to know other girls liked him too. It was hard not to like him.

Seungkwan thought by inviting you out that you'd finally be able to relax and enjoy yourself but it turned out to be the complete opposite. You were miserable. The alcohol wasn't helping your mood, not to mention you were watching random girls flirt with your crush all night. It got to the point where you needed to excuse yourself from Seungkwan and go to the bathroom.

While you were gone Chan walked up to Seungkwan and asked what was going on with you. When Seungkwan explained most of your situation to him Chan looked concerned. He's known you for years and wasn't even aware of what you were going through. Chan was feeling like a horrible friend. So when you were leaving the restroom you literally bumped into Chan.

He caught you by your arm so that you didn't fall backward. Chan asked if you were okay and you nodded, avoiding his eyes. He could tell you were trying to get away from him so he decided to block you from leaving the small hallway.

"Seungkwan told me what's been going on lately. Why didn't you say anything?"

"Because it's none of your business." You stated with anger in your voice.

Chan couldn't understand why you sounded so upset with him so he pried.

"What do you mean it's none of my business? We're friends, aren't we? Isn't that what friends are for? To share these things and receive support."

Hearing Chan call you a friend bothered you. With the alcohol in your system you had no problem holding back your frustrations, releasing your anger out on Chan. You scoffed loudly.

"Friends? You hardly talk to me! You never have time to even hangout with me and Seungkwan anymore. You always make up excuses and ditch us." Your anger was taking control. "All you ever do is flirt around with every girl you meet. You'd rather go out and drink with other people rather than hangout with me and Seungkwan. Is that what friends do?"
