Soonyoung called Wonwoo out for a drink. They met up at their usual spot, a small tteokbokki restaurant near Wonwoo's neighborhood that they've gone to since high school. Soonyoung already had a table with food and drinks on it. Wonwoo sat down and the two friends immediately threw back a shot of soju each as ritual.

The two usually meet up at least once a week at the restaurant to chitchat and catch up on each other's week. Soonyoung usually just talks about his love life and lately he's had his eyes on an unknown girl. He doesn't even know her name yet he sounds so infatuated with her already. It weirds Wonwoo out with how quickly he falls in love with people, both men and women.

This meetup was slightly different though. Soonyoung did talk about the mysterious girl again, of course. But he also mentioned that he was leaving for a month long cruise with his family. Soonyoung comes from a wealthy family and every year his entire family goes on a trip for a few weeks to a couple months at a time to "bond".

Wonwoo's best friend was usually excited to go on long vacations but now that he's got his eyes on a certain girl he's disappointed that he has to leave. Which was probably why Soonyoung wanted to drink tonight of all nights, since his trip starts tomorrow. So the two friends drank to their hearts' content and ate delicious food together.

By the next morning Wonwoo was regretting his decision to drink last night. Waking up groggy and hungover, he almost forgot about an interview hes scheduled for in the afternoon. After coming back from his military service Wonwoo was having trouble finding a steady job to help him pay off his student loans. So it was crucial for Wonwoo to get a job today.

His interview was at a cafe to become a barista. The pay was surprisingly good for the position he was applying for, on top of the daily tips the staff members receive. He calculated that with over a year's worth of work and savings he could pull off paying most of his loans. So it was safe to say Wonwoo was looking forward to getting the job.

When he arrived at the cafe he glanced around the shop and noticed how clean and neat it was. Not to mention the strong coffee aroma was pleasant and the atmosphere was quiet and comfortable. There were a few people sitting at tables working on laptops, scribbling in notebooks and reading books in peace. Wonwoo knew this was going to be the perfect place to work at. He was already feeling really good about the interview and he hadn't even talked to a staff member yet.

Wonwoo made his way to the order counter and waited for an employee to greet him. He didn't wait long until you walked out from the back storage room. You immediately gave Wonwoo a smile and asked how you could help him. The sight of you suddenly caught Wonwoo off guard. You were visually exactly his type right off the bat.

He thought you were really cute. All of your physical attributes were ideal to Wonwoo. You have long light brown hair, high cheek bones, double eye lids, long eyelashes and a pretty smile. Not to mention your voice was soft and the aura around you seemed calm and peaceful. Wonwoo's heart instantly skipped when he laid eyes on you.

"Uh..I'm here for an interview." Wonwoo said cautiously, not knowing if you were the interviewer.

"Oh! The manager is waiting in the office, follow me." You ushered Wonwoo to walk behind the counter and into the back room. "I'm Park yn, by the way."

"Jeon Wonwoo."

Wonwoo looked around in the room while you escorted him to the manager. It was just a normal stock room but it led to a separate room off to the side. You knocked on the door and a female voice answered from the other side. You opened the door and announced that Wonwoo was there for an interview. Before walking off to tend to the front of the cafe you gave Wonwoo two thumbs up and mouthed the words "good luck" to him.
