Seungkwan: from a distance

It's award night. One of the biggest award shows in Korean music. You're a part of a popular girl group that debuted two years ago under SM Entertainment. You're sitting with your group mates watching performances by other idols on stage. You felt eyes on you and slowly turned your head in the direction you were getting vibes from. And sure enough someone was watching you.

Boo Seungkwan was looking over at you. Seventeen was sitting a couple tables away from your group. While all the other members of SVT were focused on a performance by ATEEZ Seungkwan's eyes were locked on you. You quickly looked away and pretended not to notice but the burning in your cheeks didn't help.

You've seen and greeted Seungkwan in passing in the halls of music shows, chatting lightly with him every now and then. But never in a million years were you expecting his eyes to be on you at a time like this. You really couldn't believe it. You decided that maybe he was looking at someone behind you instead and that helped you calm down a little.

Remembering that there were fan cams everywhere right now you returned your gaze on the stage. The last thing you and your group needed was a dating rumor spreading. Your group was fairly new in the industry so you and your members needed to be extra careful about who you were seen talking to. But luckily SM Entertainment doesn't have a dating ban, as long as their artists are discreet about their love life.

Later in the night Seventeen had a huge theatrical performance that they put on. There were so many Carats at the award ceremony that it almost felt like a SVT concert. All of the guys looked incredible in their all-black, leather outfits. Your fellow members were expressing their inner fangirls as they watched the performance. Half your members were singing along and dancing while the others kept poker faces while tapping their legs or swaying their heads to the music.

One of your colleagues mentioned how she thought it would be amazing to date a guy from a group like Seventeen, swooning over Joshua and S.Coups in particular. The other members agreed while you stayed quiet. Your eyes were focused on Seungkwan's every move on stage. He looked so professional and majestic while he sang and dance. You admired how stable his voice was while moving as drastically as he was.

Without realizing it your heart started beating rapidly and your breathing heightened while watching Seungkwan. It seemed like everything he did was attractive now. Like when he'd wipe sweat off his forehead or when he'd readjust his outfit, and even the sexy faces he'd make throughout the performance. Now you were hoping that Seungkwan really was looking at you earlier.

You were so caught up in your head that the leader of your group nudged you. It was your group's turn to head to the dressing rooms to get ready for your big performance. All you could think about as you and your group walked to the dressing rooms was Seungkwan. You could hear loud cheering even from the back of the building where the dressing rooms were.

Minutes after the cheering quieted down Seventeen came down the hallway. Some of the members were jogging while the others walked, sweaty and exhausted from the long and laborious performance they just put on. They were on their way to their own dressing rooms to change. You and your group bowed out of respect for your sunbaes and they bowed back and waved. You thought all the members were really attractive but then your eyes locked on Seungkwan.

Seungkwan's eyes met yours and it felt like time had slowed down for a moment. His dark brown hair was dripping with sweat. He looked really sexy all sweaty, your heart skipping a beat at the thought. His dark eye makeup made his eyes look alluring and intense. Seungkwan looked you up and down, biting the corner of his bottom lip and winking as he walked past you.

Your heart raced uncontrollably. Your cheeks blushed and you started feeling shy. Now you knew for a fact that Seungkwan was staring at you earlier. But you still had no idea why and your curiosity was growing rapidly. After your brief interaction with Seungkwan you were having trouble focusing. Luckily your group's leader likes to have a quick team meditation.
