There is a kingdom that's slowly turning to ruin due to a tyrant of a king. The king is forcing his oldest daughter into arranged marriages to other kingdoms' princes to gain allies and more wealth. But with each royal engagement the king had lined up for his eldest daughter plans ultimately fell through before the wedding day. The tyrannical king was growing impatient and discontent with his daughter, thinking she was the reason why she hasn't gotten married yet. The king was running out of suitors to send to his daughter by this point.

You're the eldest daughter of the horrible king. You found out that a royal banquet was being thrown tonight for an arranged marriage, thinking it was finally your younger sister's turn to get engaged to someone. But it ended up being yours once again. Your father stormed into your bedroom and berated you over the ball tonight, yelling at you to make sure everything goes smoothly because this was your last chance before he banishes you from his court.

Because this was your final chance to get married, and considering your past failed attempts, the wedding was being held tomorrow evening. That way there was less time for you to "screw this one up" is what the king hateful hissed at you. You bowed your head and pitifully thanked your father. Once he left your room you weeped silently. If your father were to hear you cry he would come back in and beat you.

The royal dressers arrived about an hour later and got you ready for the banquet. Your stepmother, the queen, hates your guts because you're not her blood. So when she sent the dressers to prepare you for the ball she had chosen a hideous colored dress for you to wear tonight. Even the dressers were uncomfortable trying to get you to wear it.

But little did the queen know that you had your own special ball gown picked out and ready, pulling it out of your large wardrobe with a smile on your face. When you held it up to your body the royal dressers smiled widely and cheered, also loving your gown choice. The top of the dress was royal purple with short, over the shoulder butterfly sleeves. The top layer of purple lace turned ombre white halfway down the dress, revealing the white fabric over the petticoat.

Your dull brown hair was braided and pinned up, your makeup was pretty and with the dress on you felt beautiful. Once the royal dressers left your room you added the finishing touches. Opening the jewelry box that used to be your mother's you pulled out a necklace and a pair of earrings that also belonged to your late mother. It was a thin gold necklace with a dangling pearl pendant and a matching pair of pearl earrings.

Upon walking out to the throne where the king and queen were waiting for you, your step mother and your half sister gasped at your appearance. They were both expecting you to be wearing the hideous orange dress the queen picked out for you. And now that you weren't you could see them seething in anger because they also thought you looked beautiful tonight. The king commented on how nice you looked as he placed his hand on your back and ushered you to the balcony looking down on the banquet hall that was filled with royal guests of all kinds.

The king announced you to the room with loud claps echoing throughout the massive, marble-floored hall. The next announcement was when your groom-to-be entered the ballroom. The crowd dispersed, leaving only a tall, handsome man standing alone. He elegantly bowed to the king and queen.

Even from afar the prince stood out with his bright white hair and long legs. But it wasn't until you were face to face with the prince that you really got to admire his features. His jawline was sharp, his nose looked sculpted and devine. He had high cheek bones, shaped eyebrows and plump pink lips.

Prince Junhui was an incredible royal specimen. He was so good looking and well-mannered that you were skeptical of him right away. When you stepped up to the prince he held your hand and kissed the top of it. Usually when a prince kisses your hand they would give you an obviously fake smile to put on appearances in front of the crowds.
