Kid Blink // first kiss

(I wasn't gonna post this because it makes Blink very unlikeable but oh well, BTW, I love Blink SM but AHHHH)

Mike and Mush were arguing again, they have been together for 5 months and it has been 5 months of non-stop arguing. "I'm just so tired of you always treating me like I'm an idiot-" Mush frowned,
"You are an idiot!" Mike yelled back.
"Am not!"
"What's my birthday?" Mike crosses his arms.
Mush thought, "Same as Ikes."
Mike got frustrated and said through his teeth, "What's the date?"
Mush thought hard again, "December 25th." He said confidently.
"That's Christmas!" Mike angrily said, "Who do you think I am- Jesus?!"
Eventually, everyone had enough and Ike brought his brother outside to cool down as Henry talked to Mush. Mike and Mush argue quite a bit, simply because, Mush is an idiot and isn't the best at comforting or being an affectionate boyfriend. Mike is super cuddly while Mush just wants to sleep and doesn't get the point. Blink watched the whole thing, he honestly doesn't understand why they hadn't broken up yet, but he was not an expert on relationships. He's never been in one. He's never even had his first kiss. But, truthfully, he was jealous because Blink had strong feelings for Mush. That's a stupid smirk and his pretty blue eyes. His heart would flutter whenever he spoke to him, and he found himself daydreaming about him. Imagining what it must feel like to cuddle up in his arms and hold hands. But sadly, that would never happen, Mush has been with so many people and they are all so...different compared to Blink, most were girls and extroverted people. While Blink was a little bit of a know-it-all and kept to himself a lot. And while Mush was very different, he still had his dorky side that Blink found so charming. But Blink has never had a boyfriend either, but he's always wanted one, and he's always assumed it's because he hasn't found the right person yet.

"Or it's because no one likes you." Someone said. Everyone was sitting in a circle talking about first kisses and when someone brought but Blink hasn't had his yet, he tried to play it off. And now someone said it's because no one like him so he tries to laugh it off.
Everyone laughed at Blink's expense, except Mush, he didn't like the idea of teasing him for something cause already painful to talk about. And as Blink was thinking deeply about what that person said, he started to choke up on tears, and stuttered out, trying not to cry, "W-why does n-no-one like m-me?" He tried to smile it off but everyone could tell he was feeling hurt. "Well, do you want to have your first kiss?" That person asked.
Blink shyly nodded, "I do..."
"Well, it hasn't happened yet because no one wants to kiss you."
"I don't understand..." Blink stopped smiling, and started softly crying. Breaking everyone's heart. But that person didn't stop, "What do you mean?"
"I don't understand why no one likes me... I've always wanted a boyfriend..." tears fell from his face, he felt so vulnerable as he tried to open up more about his feelings, which he doesn't usually do, "I just want to feel loved, like everyone else, is that so wrong?"
Sniper, who is a close friend of Blink, placed his hand on his shoulder, "Blink, it's ok. It's just, no-one expected you to be interested in relationships, that's all"
But Blink's question still wasn't answered, "But why does no one like me?"
"I'm sure someday you'll find someone who does..."
But that broke Blink's heart even more because Sniper refused to answer his question. Blink left to go outside, feeling hurt and frustrated nobody was standing up for him. Mush looked at Mike, "Is it OK if go with him?"
Mike smiled and nodded, "Yeah, make sure he's OK."

Outside, Blink was already pretty far away so Mush had to run to him, "Hey- are you OK? Where are you going?" Mush asked, still out of breath.
"I don't know, but I am not going to be made fun of like that." Blink hiccuped.
"No one was making fun of you, Blink..."
"Even Sniper agreed that nobody liked me and he's supposed to be my friend."
"We are all your friends, they just weren't expecting you to take it to heart."
"But I did," Blink sobbed, "I want to feel loved and kissed and held...but that's never going to happen." He stopped walking and sat down on the pavement, Mush sat beside him, sympathetically placing his hand on his shoulder, "I know how you feel, Blink."
"Oh shut up, you have never been single, you wouldn't know..." Blink mumbled, wiping his tears.
Mush shrugged, "That doesn't mean I haven't felt unloved before."
Blink looked at Mush, "What?"
Mush didn't really want to elaborate so he just said, "C'mere."
And led Blink into a hug. They held eachother tightly. When they separate, they hold eachothers hands and look into eachothers eyes. Blink felt his heart beat so loud as he saw Mush lean in and Blink didn't hesitate to kiss him softly. Mush melted into it at first before he instantly pulled away, "Blink- Why would you-"
Blink felt a panic rise in him, "Sorry! I though you were leaning in for a kiss- I'm sorry-"
"Why would I kiss you? I have a boyfriend- I don't like you."
Blinks heart shattered as he stuttered out, "I know, but you said Mike made you feel unloved and-"
"For fuck sake, Blink, I open up to you about something personal and you think it's an invitationto kiss me, and even if I've been feeling hurt, I still shouldn't cheat on Mike." Mush stood up, Blink following behind.
Blink felt so guilty, "I'm sorry, Mush... please don't hate me..."
Mush sighed, "It's fine." He mumbled. But Blink didn't believe him, he never meant for his first kiss to go that way, but he just felt so lost in the moment. And Mush was being so kind and understanding. He just thought there was a little chance Mush felt the same way. But that wasn't a valid excuse. Nothing was.

Back inside, Blink was shaking, scared Mush was going to tell Mike and everyone was going to hate him. Blink went straight to his own bed as Mush went to Mike's.
"Was he OK?" Mike asked, yawning. Mush nodded and sat beside his boyfriend, "Yeh... I just wanted to tell you..." Mush was about to come clean about the kiss but he didn't want to break either Mike or Blinks heart so he sighed and decided to keep it to himself, for the time being atleast, "I know we've been arguing alot, and i just want to say I'm sorry... if I ever hurt your feelings or make you feel unloved again, I give you full permission to murder me."
Mike bursted out laughing, "Yknow what, I've definitely considered it." He joked before kissing Mush, both of them smiling against eachothers lips as they started making out. Blink sadly watched them, feeling his heart break every second, wishing it was him being loved. Blink didn't resent Mike, at all. Like Mush, Mike has dated alot of people, it just felt unfair he chose to land on the boy Blink was pinning on.
Blink started crying again, feeling so hopeless. Mush didn't like him, why was it so hard for him to accept that. A week later, Mike broke up with Mush.
