Blush // Unlovable Part 2

(Very short)

Blink brushed his teeth, unable to stop sniffling, feeling annoyed with himself that he could stop crying, but everytime he stopped, it came back to him, the embarrassment, the heartbreak, but also the love, knowing he'll never be able to get over Mush, he was too in love. He desperately wanted the be loved back but he knew that was never going to happen. He spat and made his way to his bed, Sniper had left to go home so he was all on his own. He tried to hide himself under his covers as he cried, holding his arms, like if somebody was giving him a loving hug. That night, he wasn't planning to be alone, he wanted snuggles and a kiss goodnight. That's when he felt a tap on his shoulder. Blink quickly wiped his tears and sat up, and instantly felt like crying again when he saw who it was, "Mush?" His voice sounded broken and pitiful.

Mush smiled at him, sympathetically, "Hey..." He sat down. Blink sighed and rubbed his eyes, "What do you want?"
"I wanna make sure youre OK...and also talk to you for a bit."
"What is there to talk about?"
Mush sighed, "I'm sorry... for- I guess for being stupid.... You didn't deserve that..."
"Yes I did..." Blink whispered, "It was my fault for assuming you liked me back... I was being delusional and stupid..."
"You weren't," Mush said sincerely, "I'm sorry, I just tend to be blind to these kinds of things."
"...yeah, you are..." Blink mumbled, shocking Mush, but he continued, "I'm sorry, but how did you not know I liked you- I kissed you for god sake." He made sure to whisper about the kiss part.
Mush thought for a but, "I knew you liked me, I just didn't know it was a date.
Blink paused, "You did?"
"Yeah," Mush nodded, "I over hear the things you say to Sniper."
Blink went red, he grabbed his pillow and hid his face, "Oh god-"
Mush chuckled, "It's ok... its cute."
"Don't," Blink put his pillow down and frowned at Mush, his face still completely red, "I'm trying to get over you."
"Why?"
"Cause you have a girlfriend, and you don't like me." Blink mumbled.
Mush sighed, "Look... I dated Marcie because I felt really alone after Mike broke up with me... I never liked the relationship but I still didn't like being alone, and Marcie said she liked me, and I've never thought about her that way but I didn't want to be alone again so I just said I liked her too... but, I didn't, and I still don't. She's boring and makes me feel so worthless."
Blink felt really bad, "I'm sorry..."
"It's fine..." Mush mumbled, "also, your wrong, I do like you... a lot... I have for a while, I like being around you, and your so cute and understanding... and after what happened today, and you left, I found Marcie and broke up with her right on the spot."
Blink went wide eyed, "Why?"
"Cause I don't like her, I like you," Mush said, straightforward, "I want to be your boyfriend, I want to love... you..."
Blink teared up and shook his head, "Stop-"
"Blink I'm serious-"
"No stop- just stop... this can't be real, it's another one of your pranks isn't it?" Blink sobbed, "You shouldn't play with someone's emotions like this Mush."
Mush instantly comforted him, "No- I'm being honest I swear."
"Stop." Blink cried, feeling overwhelmed. Mush didn't know what to do, he froze for a second, afraid that he, again hurt Blinks feelings, he wanted to prove to him it was real, that he was being sincere, he softly held Blinks face and wiped his tears with his thumb, "If I'm lying, I'm giving you full permission to kill me..."
Blink looked at him, blushing intensely, "You really do like me?"
Mush didn't respond, instead he leaned in and gave Blink the softest, sweetest and most loving kiss.

When they pull away the pause for a second. Taking it all in. Before Blink bursted out crying. Again. Mush panicked again, wondering if he did something wrong. Again. "Oh nonono- please don't cry- I'm sorry- what's wrong?"
But Blink just wiped his face in response, "I'm...I'm just so happy." Before hugging Mush tightly. Mush laughed and kissed Blinks neck a couple times, "Please let this be forever...."
The pull away and look back at eachother and kissed one more time, when they pull away, Blink shyly asked, "Can you sleep in my bed tonight?"
Mush thought for a bit, "Uh... sure..." Blinks face lit up as he made room for him, they lay down, facing eachother. Just admiring eachother. Mush smiled, "You're beautiful..."
Blink smiled back, "Nobody has ever said that to me before."
"Well I'll say it lots to make up for it."
