Snipehen // The sun

(Really short I am so sorry)

Henry sat on the pavement. It was
almost noon and he was watching Jojo and Tommy sell, talking to them. Henry hadn't finished selling but he sold half so he was just going to sell the other half after his work at Jacobis. He smiled and laughed at them as they had a very heated debate on whether it was more likely for Jojo to grow up married to a woman or for Tommy to grow up and become a librarian. They got so deep into their conversation, they didn't even see Sniper and Blink join them. Sniper smiled at his boyfriend before sitting in-between Henry's legs, laying his head back onto his chest. Henry chuckled, and wrapped his arms around his boyfriend from behind, "Hey." He softly kisses his cheek.
"Hi." Sniper smiled, shutting his eyes and embracing the cuddles.
Blink, however, rolled his eyes, "He dragged me here because 'his eyes were hurting'." Not believing Sniper's story, knowing he just wanted an excuse to see Henry. Henry, however, was confused, "Your eyes are hurting? What's wrong?"
Sniper nodded, with a cheeky smile, "It's sunny out and the light is hurting my eyes."
Henry could tell Sniper was overreacting, "Oh my god, your eyes are fine babe." He laughed. Sniper pouted, "No, it's true, my eyes are a lighter colour so they hurt more."
"Just cause your eyes are blue? Sniper, that still doesn't prove anything." Henry sighed.
"No it's true, in the sun, my eyes tend to be sensitive." Jojo agreed, his eyes were green. Henry's and Blink's eyes were brown so they were a little sceptical that the sun was a reason to stop doing work. Sniper has blue eyes, Jojo has green and Tommy has amber, all very lightly coloured. Sniper nodded in agreement but Henry was still a little unconvinced, "So you stopped selling, and came over because the sun was bothering you?"
"Uh- huh." Sniper nodded.
"Why not find some shade or something, Sniper?"
"You can shelter me from the sun."
Sniper said, playfully.
Henry sighed, "Ok." Before he pulled down Snipers hat over his eyes. Sniper gasped as Henry burst out laughing, Henry watching his boyfriend pull his hat back up and playfully hit his leg, "Henry!"
Henry was still laughing, "I don't know what you want me to do, your hat is meant to protect your eyes from the sun, that's what hats are for."
"You didnt need to put it over my eyes." Sniper mumbled as Henry kissed his cheek.
Blink, Jojo and Tommy all awkwardly look at eachother, wondering they are just as bad with their boyfriends, (They are).
Henry finally notices the time, "We're going to have to go, I start my shift in 10 minutes."
"Ok, I'll see you tonight." Sniper smiled and turned to give Henry a kiss.
"You wanna come with us, I'll make you a coffee."
Sniper shook his head, after all, his parents lived right above, it was too risky.
"Well, I have to sweep up outside, how about I bring you a coffee and we can hangout outside the restaurant?"
"What if my dad comes outside?"
"Throw your drink at him."
Sniper burst out laughing, "Not a bad idea. OK I'll come- Blink you-"
"No thanks, I'm tired of third wheeling, I'm going to find Mush and make whoever he's hanging out with the third wheel, bye." Blink left and Henry, Sniper, Jojo and Tommy headed to Jacobis.

There, Sniper waited outside as, the other three went inside. Dex handed Henry his apron and a broom, "I'm just going to make my boyfriend a coffee and I'll clean up outside."
Dex nodded and kept on wiping tables. Henry went to the bar and made Sniper his coffee and headed outside with a broom.
"Thanks, babe." Sniper sweetly smiled, taking a sip from his drink as Henry started sweeping.
"How are you feeling being here? Not too anxious?"
"Alittle, I also feel kinda sad, I mean... this is where I grew up."
"I know, have you spoken to your parents at all?"
Sniper shook his head, "No. I'd really like to speak to my mom but I can't risk being caught by my dad, or I can't risk her telling him where I am."
"We're you close with your mom?"
"It's more indifferent, but my dad doesn't treat her too kindly either, I've had to protect her multiple times and now I feel like I've abandoned her."
Henry understood, he was also extremely protective over his mother, especially after she fell sick, "Look, Sniper, if you want I get your mother from upstairs so you guys can talk, I'm not even sure if your father's home."
"What makes you say that?"
Henry grinned a jokingly said, "It's really quiet."
Sniper laughed, but shook his head, "No thank you, you don't have to get her I'm fine. But you're honestly so sweet to have offered." Sniper gestured for him to come over, Henry did and Sniper gave him the sweetest kiss. Henry smiled, "Anytime." Before wiping his mouth, Sniper gasped, "Stop doing that." Henry laughed and kissed his boyfriend again, not wiping his mouth that time, "Just making room for another one."
