You had gotten back to the house pretty late to find Rory, Jackie, and Arin waiting for you in the living room.

"Hey guys," you greeted with a tired sigh. You wore a smile but you were pretty worn out. Collapsing on the couch next to Rory, she pat your head.

"How was it?" Jackie asked.

You closed your eyes. "Good," you mumbled.

"That's it? Just good?"

You opened one eye to peek out at Jackie. "It was very fun. The girls are very talented and nice to talk to. I'm going back tomorrow."

"Tomorrow?" Rory asked. "But we're going to Busan tomorrow."

"Oh," you sounded, opening your eyes to see that all three girls were giving you questioning looks. "I guess I'll just have to cancel. I can join them another day."

They all nodded approvingly.

"But seriously, how was it? Who's your favorite?" Jackie interrogated.

You hummed. "Lisa," you answered. "She's like one of the funniest people I've ever met, it's hard to be serious when she's around." You thought for a moment more. "And... Jennie," you added hesitantly.

Arin's eyebrows rose. "The pretty one." It was more of a statement than a question toward you. She also gave you this inquisitive look.

You felt yourself get nervous. Why would you get nervous? "They're all pretty," you replied with a shrug. You tried to keep your cool and act casual. You could not let your friends find out about your heart racing encounters with Jennie. Or the way she looked staring up at you. Or how your breathing stopped when you thought about her.

Arin nodded. "But she's pretty. Like pretty." She emphasized the word as she widened her eyes.

You nodded in agreement, trying to act natural. "I suppose, yeah."

Jackie immediately agreed. "Y/N, she's like drop dead gorgeous. Of course they're all pretty but Jennie is like the prettiest person on earth. Have you seen her eyes?"

"You have a crush or something?" You asked her with a laugh.

"Do you?" Jackie shot back and you felt heat rush to your face.

"Do you?" It was Rory. She looked at you, her head tilted, eyes slightly squinted.

"I barely just met them," you defended. "But I answered Lisa and Jennie because I talked to them more than I talked to the others. Maybe things will change tomorrow." But then you realized you weren't going tomorrow. "I mean - next time. Next time I see them, not tomorrow."

Rory flicked your forehead. "I thought this trip was supposed to be a break from music and work, Y/N?" She looked at you pointedly.

You thought for a moment. She wasn't wrong. "It was, yeah. But, I don't know... I'm honestly really enjoying collaborating with them. It's a nice change from what I usually do." You hoped they'd accept that as an explanation, because truthfully you didn't know what else you could say. "They're reminding me of why I started doing this in the first place. It doesn't feel like a drag."

Your best friend rolled her eyes. "Just go there tomorrow then."

You looked at her with shock. "But we're going to Busan tomorrow..."

"No," Rory corrected. "We are going to Busan." She pointed to herself, Arin, then Jackie. "You go to the studio."

"But...?"

"No buts, Y/N," Rory sighed. "We aren't gonna force you to go with us. We know playing tourist isn't your thing anyway. This is supposed to be a vacation where you do the things you want, and if going to the studio to help them make their song is what you want, then go."
