"So what do you think?" You turned around to look at Jennie who lingered at the large windows that overlooked downtown Seoul.
"It's nice," she quietly replied, rotating her head in all directions to look around.
"Just nice?"
"Well," Jennie said with a head tilt and a small quirk of her lips, "I like my house better."
You rolled your eyes. "Of course you do, it's your house."
She smiled cheekily. "It can't beat this view though," she quipped, staring back out of the window. The sun was barely setting behind the other towering buildings and down below dozens of people crowded the streets, bustling and walking around. "How do you feel about the noise?"
You shrugged, striding over to put an arm around her waist and look out of the windows with her. "I don't mind. I kind of like it. It's like background noise."
Jennie nodded silently, reaching up to adjust her sunglasses and pull down her mask. No one was there for her to hide from now.
You pecked her cheek. "Want to check out the bedroom?" You wiggled your eyebrows.
"Shut up." She hooked her arm with yours, leading the way.
The bedroom was nice, but you definitely preferred the living room. It was perfect in your opinion. The lighting was amazing; it flooded through the windows and bounced off the walls perfectly. You could already imagine how you wanted to furnish it and the things you'd do in it. Movie nights with Jennie, blankets and pillows spread on the floor. Dinner and popcorn in front of the TV. Late nights spent talking and kissing and learning everything about her. Playing your guitar and singing.
"Y/n, there is a rain shower!"
You chuckled. "I told you so." You peeked your head into the bathroom. "It's bigger than I thought."
"The bathroom?"
You hummed with a nod. "The closet is huge though."
Jennie squealed, "Show me, show me."
You smiled and reached down to grab her hand before pulling her to the enormous closet. It was definitely larger than you would need, and you had the intrusive thought that maybe Jennie would help you fill it up with her own clothes. "You should keep a toothbrush here," you suddenly said.
She turned to you, her eyes a little wide and her brows raised. "Oh, should I?"
You laughed lightly. "Well, I have one at yours," you shrugged. "I'm just keeping things fair."
Jennie wore a ghost of a smile. "Okay," she whispered. She inhaled deeply, "So how long are you going to be in L.A. before you come back?"
You tilted your head side to side in thought. "I'm not too sure. Probably a week or two, I need to pack most or all of my clothes and whatever else."
Jennie nodded and you wrapped your arms around her from behind. She subtly leaned back against you. "What are you going to do with your place?"
"Nothing," you murmured into her ear before placing a light kiss behind it. "People will stop by to maintain my grass and whatnot, but that's it."
"So are you buying new furniture for this place?"
"Mhm," you confirmed. "I'll probably buy most of it online and have it delivered here while I'm still in L.A.."
You could feel her tense against you. "What are you going to do with this place afterward? When you're back in L.A.?"
You stilled, inhaling largely at the growing tension. "I haven't really thought about it," you whispered. "I'll keep it, definitely. Maybe I'll sublet it. Rent it. But I'll definitely keep it. Where else would I stay when I come visit you, hm?"
