Jennie was back from New York and gone again in what felt like two minutes.

While back, the two of you stayed home and relaxed and much as you could while she was still there. The most you guys left the house was to go on walks around the quiet neighborhood where no one seemed to care who either of you were.

Sending her off was tough, but you were reassured by the fact that you'd see her very soon. You wouldn't be joining her for any of the concerts in the States other than in Newark and, of course, L.A. when the time came.

"We're going to be okay," she promised you with an unsure smile.

You were more afraid for what came after. She'd be back off to touring in countries far, far away from you and going home to Korea in between. You weren't sure when the two of you would see each other then. But the concert in Newark was fun and the crowd was as energetic as ever. You booked another hotel room that night and you and the girls all went out to dinner together.

You asked them how it felt to be back on stage and they asked you if you liked the performance.

"How'd you like my solo?" Lisa asked you excitedly, bouncing in her seat.

"It was great, you looked stunning," you quickly replied. "Ow!"

All eyes shifted to you when you cried out after a loud thud. And then they shifted to Jennie.

"Really?" you asked the girl across the table from you, unimpressed when all she gave you was a cheeky smile after kicking your leg under the table.

The rest of the girls snickered under their breaths.

"You didn't say that about my solo," Jennie pointed out, heated but teasingly so.

You opened your mouth to defend yourself but luckily a certain blonde saved you from doom.

"Okay!" Rosie laughed. "Let's order dessert, pretty please!"

The Los Angeles concert was probably Jennie's best performance yet. Something about her new outfit and just her overall aura on stage was captivating in a way you hadn't experienced before.

Your friends convinced you to all go together, despite your initial hesitancy. It helped with appearances, Rory pointed out. It would've been weird if you attended alone.

"Wow," one of your friends had murmured during your girlfriend's solo stage. "I get it now."

Your lips twitched in a light smirk. "You didn't before?"

"Not like this."

You had to agree. Something was different this night.

Although your seats weren't up front and close and were much further in the back, you could've sworn Jennie was looking right at you at some moments.

"You look hypnotized, Y/n."

You smiled at that.

The song faded out and so did the lights, and you watched as Jennie gave a deep bow before disappearing behind stage.

"What do you want to do for Christmas?" Jennie asked you quietly, staring at you from across the room.

Your fingers, which were lightly strumming your guitar, stopped, and you looked to her with your head tilted. "Not sure. I could fly to Korea, do Christmas at yours. Unless you want to have it here," you suggested openly.
