This one's a little shorter than I wanted. I ended it earlier because I know how eager some of you guys are hahaha. Thanks for the support.

The sun was starting to come up when your eyes opened. You heard the faint sound of crickets and Jennie's breathing. She was settled half on top of you, your arm tightly wrapped around her to keep her from falling off the side of the couch. Her leg was thrown over yours and her arm was looped around your torso.
You tried to tap her awake. "Jennie?"
God, this girl could sleep.
"Jennie."
"What?" She grumbled into your neck.
You chuckled. "It's morning."
"Oh, really," Jennie deadpanned.
"You're a grump in the mornings, aren't you?"
She let out something like a growl, lifting her arm up in the air to stretch. You simply watched her as she turned to lay more on her back. When her eyes fluttered open to meet yours, you gave her a lazy half-smile.
"Good morning," you whispered.
Jennie smiled back up at you, her eyes droopy with sleep. "Morning."
You pressed a kiss to her forehead before you moved to sit up, and she followed your movements to do the same. You stretched your arms above your head, trying to release the stiffness in your back. "I should get going," you realized, scratching at your head.
You saw the way Jennie's face fell and felt a pang to your heart.
You looped your arm around her waist and pulled her into your lap - just like the night before. This time, your movements weren't motivated by lust or desire, but more for comfort and reassurance. "Come here," you murmured gruffly. You quickly nestled her neck, placing the softest of kisses there.
Jennie sighed, her eyes falling shut as she relished in the feeling of your lips against her.
Your hands splayed across her back, holding her still while you tried to convey everything you couldn't say through those kisses. "God, Jennie," you let out in a brittle voice, practically a whimper. Even though you were the one kissing her, even though she was in your arms and you were holding her, you knew that she was the one that controlled you. Thinking about how badly you wanted and needed her made you weak. "You're just everything," you croaked. You weren't sure what else you could say. The vulnerability in your voice alone conveyed the effect she had on you. You hoped that was enough. That she understood even what you didn't.
She pulled you up to look at you, like the intensity was too much. Her mouth opened to say something but she closed it when she realized she didn't know what to say either.
"I know we have a lot to talk about," you told her. "I know." Your eyes bore into hers.
"When?" Jennie simply asked.
"Are you busy today?"
She shook her head. "I shouldn't be."
Screw it. "Do you want to come back to the house with me?"
Jennie paused. "Um."
You laughed. "I need a shower and a change of clothes. And then we can go somewhere and talk?"
"Oh," she sounded, biting at her lip before nodding.
"My friends are definitely still sleeping," you told her reassuringly. "But it's okay," you quickly added. "I can just shower and come back here."
