You leaned into Jennie, pressing her against the wall and hiding her face with your own body as best you could.

"Ow, Y/n/n..."

"Shh." You covered her mouth with your palm and had to hold back a laugh when she rolled her eyes and only accepted her fate. If your hand wasn't covering half her face she would definitely be pouting.

And then a large group of teens bustled past you guys, running and dragging themselves forward. You couldn't understand Korean all that well, but you could make out 'Blackpink' and 'Jennie' from the excited and jumbled voices.

"I told you this was a bad idea," Jennie scolded and slapped your shoulder once the large group passed and completely missed you two huddled at the corner of the building.

You chuckled and glanced around to make sure no one else was around. "That was fun, no?"

"I'm never letting you convince me to do this ever again," she mumbled, grabbing onto the lapels of your jacket and pulling you closer to her. You still had her pressed against the wall and she brought your bodies even closer to keep warm and also to hide her face.

"Live a little, babe." So, maybe, it was a bad idea to sneak out and walk around downtown Seoul on a Saturday night. Just maybe. But you promised that she'd never live a boring life with you and you were living up to that. So, when it was yet another relaxing night in your condo that overlooked all the bright lights of downtown, you spontaneously decided you'd roam out and explore.

You pulled her along, resuming the leisure walking pace you had set earlier. At the sight of the teens from up ahead, you and Jennie both started to laugh, covering your mouths with your hands.

Jennie leaned her weight into you as you walked, her arm looped with yours. She let out a sigh and it was like you could hear her sheer content from it.

"No one's going to notice us," you assured. "I promise." Narrowly glancing around, you stood corrected. The sidewalk was pretty busy, and you and Jennie remained tightly linked as you pushed past all the walking people who were too busy to even look at who else was walking.

"We could do this every day in Los Angeles, you know," you commented, staring down at your feet and watching the way your footsteps were synced with hers.

"Hm?"

"Walk around. In public. In broad daylight, even."

"In Los Angeles?"

You nodded to confirm. "Everyone there is so caught up in their own lives. No one would bat an eye."

Jennie looked up at you, peeking her head out of the large hood that obscured her face. "That sounds nice," she said with a smile.

"It is," you confirmed with a nod, glancing at her briefly.

"So what are you saying?"

You looked down at her again with a quirked brow. "Hm?"

She hummed an amused sound and it further confused you. "Nothing."

"What?" You bumped her hip with yours.

Jennie shrugged. "Just thought you were trying to say something."

"I know," you revealed, dropping your confused face for a smirk.
