CH. 19: Just Lunch

Chaeryeong's POV

I walked out of Lia's office smirking to myself.

I never needed a date at all for the event. I could have easily gone myself.

My dad didn't tell me to ask her, he suggested. As I said I always get what I want. I decided to stop by and visit my dad before I left grabbing us both a coffee on the way. "Hey dad you busy or you got time for a coffee?" I asked as I entered his office

"I have some time, come in. I need coffee, its only thirty minutes into the workday and it is already hectic." He laughed "Can I help?" I asked "No, thank you though." He smiled

My dad and I have a very close relationship. We always have. He has done so much for me. I headed over taking a seat at the opposite of the desk from him, handing him his coffee. He smiled thankfully, taking a long gulp and letting out a sigh of relief, making me laugh. The man loves his coffee.

"Lia said yes," I said taking a sip of my coffee "She did? Well, that is good Chaeryeong. Please tell me you are not planning on doing what you uLially do? She is the kind of the girl you could actually probably date." He said.

Do what I uLially do? Ha, yeah only if my father knew exactly what I have already done with her. He is always trying to get me to find a nice girl and settle down but that isn't me. I am not ready for all that.

"Dad, I don't like dating, you know that I will settle down when I am ready. I know she is a nice girl but still, it doesn't mean I wanna actually date her. She is only my date for the event nothing more." I said

My dad has never understood why I do what I do. He doesn't understand really. He has been with my mom since they were sixteen, married by eighteen and had me when they were twenty and now they are both fifty-five and still together.

They will be celebrating their forty-year anniversary at the end of the month of them getting together. They married exactly two years after they started dating, on the same date they started dating. It is why they wonder why I don't wanna settle down if my whole life they have shown me how great love is. I don't understand it myself but it just isn't me.

"I can't wait for the day a woman comes into your life Chaeryeong and changes everything. You will not see it coming at all" He laughed "Yeah, yeah if you Insist." I laughed, brushing him off

My mum was just as bad. She has tried setting me up many times but, in the end, just end up having sex with the woman she sets me up with and we head our separate ways which annoy my mum but she is used to it by now. She eventually stopped trying set me up cause she knows how it would end. I will settle down when I am ready, not before it.

"What are your plans for the rest of the day?" he asked "Not a lot to be honest. I am gonna see if maybe Lia will join me for lunch if she isn't too busy." I said smiling "Oh right. I thought you don't date? That sounds like a lunch date to me?" he smirked

"It's just lunch...not a lunch date. I don't think she is interested in me that way. She just got out of a long term relationship that never ended too well for her. She isn't ready to date." I said "Yes she did mention something about it," he said

I stayed with my dad for a while, helping him out as much as I could. My dad is still trying to convince me that Lia would be a good choice of a woman for me to date.

Once I was finished with my dad I headed back to her office.

I knocked before walking in. She had her head buried in files and her laptop, trying to do the work of two people. She seemed slightly stressed out.

"Chaeryeong I don't have time for you to annoy me, what do you want?" she asked not even looking at me "I came to see If I could treat you to lunch, you seem stressed." I said making my way over to her desk

She looked up at me, raising her brow at me. "And I mean only lunch, nothing else." I laughed "OK if you mean only lunch. I need to get out of here for an hour. I need food and a very strong coffee." She giggled "Just give me ten minutes, OK?" She added "Sure thing," I said taking a seat, letting her be I don't think she needs me pissing her off right now I occupied myself with my phone as she finished off what she was doing. "Ready." She said closing her laptop and getting to her feet

"Come on then. What do you want Chinese? Italian? Thai? Or something else?" I asked "I want a cheeseburger with fries." She laughed "I know the perfect place, let's go, It is close by, we can walk. And we can discuss more about Sunday." I smiled

She grabbed her things and we headed out, stopping by my dad's office to see if he wanted anything but he doesn't. He told us to enjoy ourselves...told me to behave. He knows me too well. I decided would try to play nice during this lunch, no promises but I will try.

"So, this event what is the dress code?' Lia asked as we made our way to a bar and grill down the street "It is quite a fancy event, so something classy," I said "I think I need to go shopping. I don't think the dresses I wear will be suitable for it. I prefer my dresses short and tight." She laughed

Oh and don't I know it? That sexy little thing she had on the first time we met would make any man hard and horny. I bit my lip, stopping myself from saying something I shouldn't be. I would like to get through one lunch without us arguing or her walking away from me.

"If you want, I can come with you to pick a dress on Sunday afternoon?" I suggested ''I'm sure you have better things to do." She laughed ''I don't mind. At least with me there you will have a better idea of what sort of dress you need." I said "OK. If you don't mind." She smiled "Sorted, we will hit the shops on Sunday," I said All part of the plan. The more time she spends around me, the harder it will be for her to resist me. Call me cold ...call me a whore...call me whatever you want. I don't care if you met someone as sexy as her... have incredible sex with her and you would understand why I want her around more. The woman drives me crazy.

We arrived at our destination, getting seated before someone came to take our orders. "What can I get you both to drink and eat?'' the waitress said smiling at us "I will have a double espresso and the double bacon cheeseburger with fries please," I said winking at her, making her giggle and smirk at me ''I will have a black coffee please and the cheeseburger and chilli cheese fries please," Lia said

The waitress took our orders, heading off.

I turned my attention back to Lia who was looking at me seeming slightly disgusted. "Can you not go five minutes without thinking with your dick Chaeryeong'' she said shaking her head at me "I can't help myself. Why? are you jealous?" I smirked "No, I am not jealous. And if you keep being an ass then I am leaving." She said glaring at me "Fine, fine...l will behave myself." I said throwing my hands up in surrender

"Thank You. You can go back to whoring, once I am away." She laughed

I was glad she was seeing the funny side of it and not so mad at me now. I am sure I can get through one lunch behaving myself. 

I would slip the waitress my number when Lia isn't looking. The waitress could be my afternoon delight for the day...and hopefully, Lia can be my night time fun if I play my cards right and convince her to meet me. We shall see how it goes.

It will only be so long that she will be able to resist me cause I know she enjoys the sex as much as do.
