ㅡㅡㅡㅡOne year later ㅡㅡㅡㅡ

Chaeryeong's POV

I sat eating dinner with Lia at one of the most incredible restaurants in the city.

I can't believe it has been a year since the first time we said I love you and we are stronger than ever. I fell more in love with her every day. She had become part of my family. I had become part of hers, thankfully her family took a liking to me straight away which made everything easier.

She has also moved in with me, actually she sort of never went home after that night we said I love you. I am enjoying staying with her very much.

Right now, though I couldn't concentrate on anything. I was a nervous wreck I mean my heart thudding in my chest, palms sweating and the heat in the room seemed like it had doubled. My leg is bouncing up and down under the table. "Chaeryeong baby are you OK?" Lia asked, reaching over the table, placing her hand over mine, looking at me with a concerned look on her face.

"Yeah, I am fine baby just a little warm in here that is all." I smiled at her. I had to pull myself together before I mess this up completely. I took a few deep breaths, downing my glass of Scotch. I had to find a way to distract her for a moment. "How beautiful is that painting of the wolves on the wall?" I said nodding behind me. She looked at me confused but turned around, she soon admired it cause I knew how much she loved wolves.

While she was distracted with the painting I moved from my chair, digging into my pocket and I was soon down on one knee at the side of her. A ring in hand. She turned around, looking across the table for me soon realizing I was not there, her eyes falling on me down on one knee.

"Oh, My God!" She squealed, making everyone look at us. All eyes were on us, not like I was nervous enough without everyone looking at me. I took a deep breath, concentrating on only the beautiful woman in front of me, blocking everyone else around me out.

"Lia this last year has been amazing with you...been amazing spending my life with you I would really like to spend the rest of my life with you, if you will have me. I have said it before but I will say it again, you made me a better person.... I love you Lia... and I would love if you would become my wife. Lia, will you marry me princess?" I said

By now she was crying, her eyes wide with excitement and the biggest smile on her face. She nodded her head. "Is that a yes?" I asked "Of course! it is baby! I will marry you, nothing would make me happier. I love you Chaeryeong and I want to spent the rest of my life being with you...loving you...you loving me." she said jumping to her feet, wrapping her arms around me, kissing me over and over again "Yes..." She whispered against my lips.

The full restaurant erupted into cheers as we kissed. Our lips parted, our foreheads resting against each other. "I don't ever wanna stop loving you, Lia," I whispered "I don't wanna ever stop loving you either. I can't wait to be your wife." She said through her sobs. I pulled away from her, taking her left hand in mine, slipping the engagement ring onto her finger, it was the perfect fit I managed to get her mum to find out without her realizing what was going because I asked both her parent's permission before I decided to ask Lia to marry me.

"Chaeryeong, it's beautiful." She gushed looking at the ring. "It's unique, just like you my love" I said running my hands through her hair "It is perfect...this whole thing is perfect...you're perfect." She said reaching in to kissing me over and over again. I pulled her into my chest, hugging her and kissing the top of her head. "I love you, Choi Jisu" I whispered "I love you too Lee Chaeryeong" She replied

Soon enough the staff were coming over with a bottle of champagne and chocolate cake, they were saying congratulations to us which we both found really sweet. They left us after congratulating us, leaving us alone.

We took our seats, grabbing the glasses of champagne "To us baby...to our future." I said raising my glass "To love...to marriage and happily ever afters." she said raising her glass too I reached in, taking her hand in mine and lifting it to my lips, kissing her knuckles. "

You have made me the happiest person alive Lia. I can't wait to make you my wife." I said Lia reached over the table, kissing me softly. "And you make me a very happy woman. I don't think I could imagine my life without you, baby." She said

The two of us were on a high, the rest of the evening spent celebrating, and spent drinking champagne and talking about the wedding. Yes, we only got engaged but I think both of us wanted to start planning as soon as possible, not wanting to be one of the couples that get engaged and wait years to get married.

I still can't believe that I am getting married. It was honestly never something I ever even thought about, getting married. It never appealed to me until I met Lia.

Maybe it is true what they say, when the right one comes along everything you ever thought changes. I can't wait to marry her though I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with her. I would be her provider and protector.

I know I wouldn't wanna do or be any of that if it wasn't with Lia. The woman appeared in my life in, well, not the best way but now I couldn't imagine it without her.

She was the woman that I was meant to be with and I couldn't wait.

I never thought I could be this happy, be this in love, but everything has changed and it is all down to Lia.

I'm ready for this, I'm ready to spend the rest of my life loving her.
