Make up!
⁂⁂
"It's you, because no one else makes sense."
The sun had come out by the time we arrived at the military camp, and I had fallen asleep. The others rushed me to the nursery to get my wounds treated. When I obtained consciousness, Su-Yeon updated me that Jang-Soo was the one who carried me since he refused to let any of the other boys do it.
"you finally woke up!" Woon-Bin ahjussi said and I looked at him. "You were unconscious when you arrived this morning. Great job on making it alive." I smiled gratefully and started to get up as he continued to speak. "Let's get you to your bad, the girls had already settled down on your tent."
Su-Yeon helped me walking, when we reached the barracks we are supposed to stay at, I noticed the others fooling around but as soon as they noticed me the girls come running checking up on me.
"Yah! I really thought you were dead back there." Soo-Cheol who was standing with Il-Ha and Hee-Rak, yelled humorously from their tent, which was only a few feet away from ours.
"*sight* the problem with some people is that they are breathing." I snarked back looking his way and the others laughed and exchanged a "she is finally back to her normal self." Look.
"We are all happy that you are okay Su-Jinaa." Soon-Yi said on the verge of crying again.
"Right, I was terrified when I saw your condition; you looked awful." Ha-Na continued, turning my attention back to the girls in front of me I smiled arrogantly.
"Right! Everyone was worried about me! You know, because having me is a big flex." I said, egotistically tossing my hair, and they all began hitting me lightly.
"Yah! Yah! Stop it I'm still injured. Look!" I pouted, showing them my now-covered wound, but they ignored me and kept reaching me humorously, so I started running away from them backwards, and I almost fell if it hadn't been for someone tightly gripping my waist.
"Hey! You have to be more careful!" The person stated, and my eyes widened as I recognized the voice behind me. "Jang-Soo"
I hastily straightened up and coughed awkwardly as Jang-Soo took his hand. Gesturing for the girls to help me out of this situation, but they only looked at me and then to the person behind me chocked.
Su-Yeon and Bo-Ra exchanged a dirty grin, and I understood immediately what they were thinking, so I shook my head pleadingly. . "Yah! Let's go!" I cursed under my breath as they disregarded me and began walking away as Bo-Ra dragged a befuddled Ha-Na, not before winking teasingly at me.
I slowly turned around facing him. "Why do you even care ! You broke up with me remember." I asked angrily.
"Can we talk ?" He overlooked my statement and asked.
"Absofuckinlutely, not !" I said trying my best to sound taken back, but it was all an act since my heart couldn't stop fluttering, So I began to pull away dramatically, hoping that he would somehow stop me.
"I know you hate me but please listen to what I need to say first." He said desperately, and I smirked mischievously as I continued going forward, my back facing him. "Damn it! I love you!"
I finally came to a halt, still not facing him so he took it a sign to keep talking. "This wasn't supposed to happen, I wasn't supposed to love you like this. When I first met you I would not have ever imagined that you would be the one I would ache for, the one who's name leaves me this nostalgic feeling. You mean more to me than I ever expected."
"You were so easy to fall in love with, everything about you is so incredible. I knew the second I met you that there was something about you I needed. Turns out it wasn't something about you at all, it was just you."
"And I'm so sorry for what I said, I just didn't know what I was doing. I was selfish, I was wrong. I should have appreciated you a little more Because now you hate me and all I'm left with is this regret. Damn."
"Lucky for you Hee-Rak and the others are not here right now." I stated randomly and I turned to face him. "Are you trying to write a poem or something? That's the longest I ever heard you talk" I teased but he only glared at me with a blank expression. "Gee! I'm joking!"
I sighed and stepped gently towards him, not taking my gaze away from his. back to serious mode. "Well first of all, I don't hate you ." I stated, "it's true that you caused me so much pain, and I wanted to hate you so badly, but I couldn't forget about all the times you made me feel as though I was made of sunshine."
By the time I finished talking I was right in front of him, only few inches away, so I took his hand in mine. If it wasn't for the others being near by I would have smashed my lips on his instantly, having missed them so much.
"I think that maybe, I would always let you come back" I said. "Not that I would stay here waiting, exactly. But, if you came, telling me that you love me, and asked me to be yours... I'm not sure if there anything in this world I wouldn't drop for you." I smiled as I finished, pleased with how my words came out. "Ahem, so I'm still waiting for your question."
He only looked at me cluelessly not really getting the hint. "Yah! I know I was the one who asked you out the first time, but that doesn't imply I'll do it every time; I have self-respect as well." I yelled aggressively, and embarrassedly he seemed to grasp the intended point.
"Kim Su-Jin! Would you like to be my girlfriend." He asked, with a hint of shyness.
"Ohhh! Is the big puffed Jang-Soo blushin.... Okay I'll be your girlfriend." As I started to tease him jokingly, I suddenly stopped upon seeing his annoyed expression.
