The next day, we were back at the practice field. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't frightened since it was my turn to try shooting without dropping the tiny stone. Jang-Soo kept reassuring me that it was not that hard, but still, I couldn't help it.
"Okey, lay down and bring your elbows close to each other, try and hold your breath, focus and shoot." Jang-Soo started directing me what to do. As I laid down, I complied with what he was saying without missing a step.After my fourth try, I finally got it and I couldn't describe my joy. "I did it!" I grinned happily and almost charged at Jang-Soo, attempting to hug him, but I was abruptly stopped as I became aware of the situation around us, and I became annoyed.
"I'll get that kiss and hug no matter what!" I grumbled to myself firmly.
"Na-Ra did it !"
"Yoo-Jeong also did it."
And with that the day passed by as we continued with different kind of trainings, we trained on our shooting positions, and continued with more physical and tactical training. However, this time we were ordered to traine with our assigned weapons, so we had to carry them every where.
When it was time for bed, we went our separate ways, the boys to their room and the girls to ours. Today was my night watch duty, and I had a malicious plan. So I began tip towing out of our room, and I did a pretty good job until I got to the corridors.
"Where are you going?" I was suddenly startled by a voice and I quickly whirled around, clutching my chest as I searched for the source of the sound, only to be met by Na-Ra's icy gaze. I sighed in relief when I realised it was her.
"You scared the shit out of me !" She just stared at me while I chuckled awkwardly, waiting for my answer, so I continued "fine! You caught me, I was actually trying to meet up with Jang-Soo". I answered honestly. " by the way, what are you doing here? I know you finished your night watch duty before me, so!!" I immediately turned the situation around so that I was now staring at her with narrowed eyes.
"I'm taking a walk." She answered simply.
"Well, how about we make a deal! I won't get into your business and you won't get into mine?" I clarified while shifting uncomfortably. "Please, Na-Raaa! I'm your only friend, remember?" I added trying to sound as desperate as possible.
"Fine! But don't take long" she said and I couldn't help but jump with joy.
"You are the best!". I exclaimed with excitement as I made my way to the boys' room. I now need to come up with a plan for getting Jang-Soo outside.
