The journey to the shooting range was rather odd because the city was abnormally empty.  Nobody was around, and even shops were closed. My discomfort grew with each step I took, so I gripped Jang-Soo's hand for reassurance.

"what is this? Why are the streets so empty ?"

"That's true all the stores are closed too."

"Wow! It looks like the world has ended."

"Shit!"

"How is there not a single person ?"

"There is not a single rat roaming around." I listened as everyone stated their thoughts, I too had so many questions but I just chose to be silent.

"I don't hear any of the fire trucks from yesterday. Right, Kim-Chi!"Deok-Joong asked Kim-Chi who only stayed quite.

"Attention! The walk to the shooting range will be in silence." Lieutenant Lee spoke meddling as Deok-Joong and So-Yoon started bickering with each other, and we all kept silent for the rest of the walk.

When we arrived, I finally released Jang-Soo's hand and I noticed that we are not the only one as there are another students, from another school perhaps.

"Class 3-2, line up in front of platoon sergeant!" The female soldier yelled ordering.

"Line up." We shouted back as we started gathering in front of lieutenant Lee.

Suddenly, We were all startled by the sound of gunshots, and as a reaction, I clutched into Jang-Soo once more; it seemed that I established the latter action as a habit. I noticed some of the others were kneeling on the ground. But it turned out to be coming from the shooting range.

"Commence firing, starting with the prepared marksman." Lieutenant Lee informed us once we get to the range and we were once more divided into groups.

-time skip-

It was time for our evaluation after we finished shooting, so we all sat together as we waited for lieutenant Lee to examine our targets. I smirked as I sat alongside Soo-Cheol, ignoring Su-Yeon, who sat on his other side and had been eagerly attempting to speak to me.

"Everyone attention!" Finally lieutenant Lee spoke.

"Attention." we said back.
