I can't sleep !
⁂⁂
We are just a bunch of teenagers, we can't handle this.
At dinner time, We all sat at the same table, but everyone was picking at their food, so wrapped up in their own thoughts that no one actually ate their food.
"Shit! I knew something was off." I looked at Il-Ha as he cursed.
"I have asked the other students, and we are going first because we are the largest in number." Ha-Na then revealed, and we all stared at her. I sighed, because knowing we were the first to go wasn't very comforting.
"This is so annoying." Bo-Ra then scoffed with disdained expression, "who the hell made a fuss about being discharged ?"
I merely grunted and turned to gaze at the other table, where Jang-Soo was sitting with everyone else, and noted that they, too, had not touched their food.
When we returned to our tent, we were surprised to find Lieutenant Lee waiting for us; I had hoped he would inform us that the operation had been canceled. Yet, he only gave us some plastic bags with our names on them before leaving.
As Yoo-Jeong handed out the bags, I glanced at it puzzledly, trying to figure out what they were, and when I noticed the piece of paper inside, I became even more perplexed.
"Oppa! What is this?" I calmly approached Jang-Soo, who was standing behind me, and I noticed the others looking at him as well waiting for an answer, he looked at me painfully, unsure how to explain it.
"It's a will, they want us to write it in case something happened to us." He struggled and responded hesitantly. As everyone else gasped, I simply nodded and returned to stare down at the bag, the corners of my mouth forced towards the floor.
"Apparently, writing a will is only a formality before any operation." After noticing our terrified expressions, Yoo-Jeong spoke reassuringly. "Also, cut your fingernails or your hair to submit them in these bags. These are for your...." She stopped talking, and I looked up at her, having realized what she was unable to utter. "Four your funeral, if they can't find your body."
As soon as she finished speaking, I was no longer able to stand since my legs seemed wriggling and growing weak, so I dropped down on the bed next me.
"What? Are we going out there to die ?" So-Yoon was first to exclaim angrily.
"No, that's not it!"
