Jang-Soo's pov :
All I could think of at this particular moment was Su-Jin; I had told her to stay in the back, yet all I wanted was for her to be here with me now. I began looking around for the familiar heavenly brown curls that belonged to her. Her, who have a place in my heart, no one else ever could have. God knew my heart needed her, she is my once in a lifetime person.
Then, I spotted her, the person I'd been seeking for; she was seated on the ground, completely disorganized, frightened eyes open and assessing what was happening around her, and she was still the most gorgeous person I'd ever laid eyes on. "Snap out of it Jang-Soo, this is not the right time. Get her to safety first!"
Su-Jin's pov :
The thoughts poured down my head uncontrollably as I sat there witnessing everything, more spheres started to fall. The thing is my hands were shaking and my tears were falling and I knew, i deeply knew that at some point I had to take the risk or I'll lose the chance, yet I was unable to get up and move.
Then everything slowed down when I noticed the small sphere approaching me; all I was able to do was scream and cover my face instinctively, succumbing to whatever my fate awaited.
Then there was a Gunshot...
"What are you doing! Pull yourself together!" Lieutenant Lee shot down the sphere then turned his attention to me yelling at me to get up and run
I hesitated at first but then I was pulled up from behind by someone I couldn't identify at first, but as soon as I felt the person brace me, I instantly recognized Jang-Soo's familiar scent and warmth.
"Oppa!" I started weeping and took in every inch of him, unable to believe he was right in front of me.
But, he didn't even give a chance to check on him as he took my hand and started to run towards the school, but I noticed Su-Yeon being held by one of the spheres not far away from us.
"Su-Yeon!" As I came to a halt, I yelled her name, causing Jang-Soo to look at me confusingly before turning to where I had been looking.
"Oppa! We need to help her!" I begged, he looked thoughtfully then nodded.
We immediately approached her, Jang-Soo took one of the scattered firearms and shot the sphere, causing it to shatter. Jang-Soo stayed behind us, covering us and killing all the spheres that were making their way towards us as I hurried to help Su-Yeon back to her feet.
