"Here we are don't turn away now, we are the warriors that built this town from dust."

People come and go. It's sad, It's hard, yet you gotta accept the fact that certain things will never go back to how they used to be, that's life full of sudden goodbyes.

And that's our life currently, it's been almost a month since lieutenant Lee's death. Personally, I low-key wanna disappear for a little because I really hate this mood I been in, how would I explain it.... Just here somewhere between emotional and emotionless.

They say you never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have, and that's exactly what happened to us after lieutenant Lee's death, we had no choice but to be fierce. There was no more crying, no tears, but heavy hearts, overthinking and a lot of anger, this is how we live nowadays... and we'll never be those kids again.

After the blow up, we received instructions to carry on the operation, and to eliminate as many spheres as possible, despite everything that had happened.

Surely, we had a vote set up for determining whether we should stay and conduct the task or return to Sueol, yet strangely, everyone appeared overly eager and angry to kill the spheres instead of returning home. So, murdering the spheres has been our normal routine for the past few weeks, and it is precisely what we are currently doing right now.

As a whistle chimed jolting me out of my reverie, I stood up from my current hiding spot, readying my handgun, taking a deep breath,"Let's do this !" and then commenced firing.

"One!"

"Two!"

"Three!"

"Four!"

I glanced across at the rooftop of the building, where Su-Yeon was meanwhile killing the spheres; we shared a nod, and I began racing to the opposite side of the roof that I was on in search of a better view of the area as Deok-Joong continued to lure the spheres into the alleyway before me.

"Twenty three!"

"Thirty one!"

I don't know why but the past days, I developed a habit of counting every sphere I eliminated since it made me feel better knowing I was doing well.

"Die you filthy things!" I exclaimed, impressed with myself, and caught Na-Ra out of the corner of my eye, smirking as she stared at me with a slight smile, realizing that she was pleased with my aiming ability.
