Jang-Soo's POV:

I watched as Su-Jin headed out without saying anything. Only then did I realize what I had done: I had yelled at her in front of the entire class. But she's so stubborn that everything is a joke to her; I understand it's her way of dealing with stressful situations, but this is serious. We even could be going to war, no one knows.

I was aware that military training is serious business since I had seen my father returning from deployment in the worst possible condition, both physically and emotionally, but she didn't .

Yet, I couldn't help but feel guilty , especially when I thought back to her words "if you're doing it, then so am I". Jang-Soo you are indeed an asshole I thought.

End of Jang-Soo's POV.

Su-Jin's POV:

When I returned to class, it was in chaos since Il-Ha and  Young-Hoon were now fighting over something. And it was really horrible that nobody was attempting to stop them. As Il-Ha began tossing chairs here and there, signaling that it had gotten out of hand. I could feel Jang-Soo nearing me so he would be there to shield me if anything was thrown my way. But I ignored him, after all I'm still mad.

"Yah! Il-Ha stop it". I yelled at him, hoping he would quit throwing punches at Young-Hoon now that he had the upper hand. But it was in vain because he continued punching him so hard that we could see that Young-Hoon was bleeding.

"Hurry and stop them!". Finally, the class president hissed at Hi-Rak to stop them, but it was Jang-Soo who charged forward first, struggling and attempting to separate them, only to be joined by the other boys afterward.

"Why the heck are those two always fighting!"

Even after being separated, they kept trying to charge at each other again. But they eventually stopped.

"Who left the bag of idiots open?". I spoke with no one in specific, which caused Il-Ha to throw a dirty look my way. But I ignored his stare and sighed audibly.

As everyone began to breathe again, I briefly met Jang-Soo's gaze before quickly looking away. I could tell he was attempting to speak to me, but I wasn't ready.

"It's the military! Guys ...". Deok-Joong called out to us, having caught our attention as he peered out the window. Curiosity took hold of me, and I and a few others dashed to the windows to see what he was talking about. I ended up peering through the same window as Su-Yeon ana Na-Ra. A group of military vehicles and soldiers were stationed in our sports field.
