Chapter 7

I walk over and nervously open it just to see my mom standing there.

"Hey honey, is everything okay? I heard Zachary come in and he didn't seem too happy", she looks at me sadly.

I shake my head, "I did some things that made him upset with me. All you need to know is Lucian got his human form back and will be staying as my service wolf for now until we figure something out".

She excitedly looks past me towards Lucian, "That's amazing! Well not that Zachary is upset with you but that Lucian got his human form back. We'll have to formally meet when he's ready".

I nod and smile, "I'm sure he'll be more than happy to meet you but I need to go shopping and get him some clothes first. I'm going to see if Katie wants to go with, if she wants can she stay the night tonight?".

"Of course she can! You know you don't even have to ask, she's always welcome here", I thank her and walk back into my room while she goes back to what she was doing.

I walk into my closet and grab a black t-shirt and a pair of jeans before throwing them at Lucian.

"The jeans are skinny jeans but I think you can pull them off until we get you your own clothes", I laugh as he rolls his eyes and goes into the bathroom to put them on.

I click on Katie's contact in my phone and press call as I lift the phone to my ear.

After a few rings she answers, "Hello?".

"Hey girl we have a lot to catch up on", I hear her gasp on the other side of the phone.

"Oh my gosh Lucy, we totally do! I texted you and I've been worried sick. I haven't even seen you since Zachary took you out of the school", she rants.

"Calm down I will explain everything but it's easier to do in person. I have to go shopping today so I was wondering if you'd like to come with and stay the night at my house tonight?", I hear her moving around on the other end of the phone.

"I'll be there in five", I laugh as the line goes dead.

Lucian walks out of the bathroom wearing the clothes I gave him.

"Katie will be here soon", he smiles happily.

"I always have loved her, not in a relationship way but like a best friend way", I nod knowing what he means.

We sit on my bed and talk about random stuff until my bedroom door opens. Katie walks in and drops her bag at the sight of Lucian.

"Who's this?", she looks between him and I.

"Katie meet Lucian, well his human form at least", her jaw drops to the floor while confusion swirls through her eyes.

"Wait this is Lucian? His human form? I thought he lost it when he was a pup?", she begins interrogating me.

I tell her everything and she nods understandingly before hugging him gently. We spend the next few hours shopping in town and getting him some clothes as well as getting some food at a restaurant. When we return home I make him a section in my closet as well as fold up some thick comforters for him to sleep on.

"This is only for tonight since when Katie isn't here, you'll have the air mattress. I wouldn't want Zachary to get pissed off with you sleeping in the same bed as me again" he nods understandingly.

We all lay down and I watch the others fall asleep as I'm unable to sleep. How am I supposed to sleep knowing my mate is pissed off at me? It's been all day and Zach didn't even try talking to me, no visits, no calls, no texts, nothing. I lay on my back staring at the ceiling for I don't even know how long. I notice Lucian get out of bed and shift before leaving the room, I figured he was going on a run again. Hopefully he'll see his mate again and be able to get to know her now. I turn on my side to face towards the door as I close my eyes. After a few minutes, I hear my door open so I let my eyes open once more. The dark figure comes close as I look up at them nervously. Once the person gets to the side of my bed I see that it's Zach.

"Jeez don't scare me like that Zach, what are you doing here at this time anyways?", I rub my eyes while sitting up.

He crawls onto my bed and pulls me into his arms, "I'm sorry I just needed to see you".

I nod and wrap my arms around his neck as his are around my waist.

"Aren't you mad at me though?", he shakes his head and tightens his grip on me.

"Not anymore and I'm really sorry that I left you the way I did. I was just so angry that you broke the rules and were in bed with another guy so I let my anger get the best of me. I spent all day being pissed off at myself for leaving you and I missed you so much", I nod and pull away slightly as I smash my lips on his.

I've been wanting to do that since we met and I couldn't take it anymore. His lips move against mine quickly as he pulls me to sit on his lap. I straddle him as we sit there making out for a few minutes. We pull away panting as we try catching our breath.

He chuckles happily, "I guess you accept my apology". I nod and lay down on his chest.

"Please don't go yet", he kisses the top of my head gently before sighing deeply.

"I'm not going anywhere princess, go to sleep and I'll be here when you wake up", I smile and rub my head against his chest lightly while closing my eyes.

I let darkness take over me as I lay comfortably on him.
