Chapter 25

Time Skip Two Years

Life has been different the past two years, It'll never be the same as when he was here. I may not have had a bond with him as strong as I did with Zach but I was his bloodsinger, he made that much clear. I wasn't required to feel for him like I did for Zach, just to feel drawn to him with emotional connection and that I did. I was torn apart for months after his death, not able to bring myself to do much. After awhile though, I remembered the promise I made to him and knew I couldn't just sulk around about it. 

The war ended the same day of Onyx's life. The death of Alpha Ian and his Beta Striker, shook the pack to it's core enough for us to finish them off quickly. We've taken in the citizens from his pack that were willing to join, the others spread out to other packs or chose to go rogue. We haven't had any more conflicts since then. 

Rose left to be with her mate, a vampire from Onyx's coven. Katie also left to be with her mate, the one that shocked everyone. Onyx's second in command and now new king, Emrys. Katie has been turned into one of them, losing her shifter assets but she couldn't be happier as the coven's new queen. Lucian and Maddy moved out of the pack house to live a normal life but still remain inside our pack itself. Tanner found his mate and moved her into the pack house as well as began trying to start a family. 

Speaking of starting a family, Zach and I have a little boy together. Our one year old baby, Onyx, named after the man I lost those years ago. Zach was surprisingly on board with the name and loved the idea, just as much as we love our baby boy. We got married shortly after I became pregnant and we can't wait for the day our son finds his mate so they can be as happy together as his father and I. 

We know we're ready for anything that comes our way, we're strong and we will always come out on top. The way people view me has changed throughout the whole world, no longer just some Broken Luna. 

Who's cutting onions in here? I'm not crying, you are! Haha anyways, this is the end of Broken Luna. I know it was pretty rushed (3 chapters in one day) but I wanted to get it done as soon as possible and I knew I couldn't get it up to my desired word count without having it seem really slow burnt. 

I am going to take a few weeks off so I can begin writing a few stories I have to work on but by the time I get back, I'll be ready to post a few chapters of new content for you all! I will also more than likely come back to edit this story and ensure it's as best as it can be before beginning the next. Keep an eye out for the new stories my lovelies, I'll be back soon!
