—CHAPTER 002
| The Class of LosersThe sun began its ascent, casting a golden glow across the prestigious halls of Celestia Academy. It was a place known for breeding excellence, where the brightest minds congregated to test their mettle against one another. It was also known as an academy for the rich snobs of well-off families.
Celestia Academy is not just a school for education, it's where the children of powerful, wealthy families showcase their extraordinary skills and talents,
their power and skills as an individual is measured here, in this highly esteemed school, it is a great place to build connections with equally or more wealthy people, and also to test who's the next leader in the world of elites
Serenity walked in the hallways of the Academy on her way to her class she could feel the gaze of students whispering things to each other, some giggling some looking at her with admiration after all she's the heiress of Sinclair Enterprises,
She wasn't socially outgoing or particularly did anything still her last name alone made her popular in the academy, her beauty and background drew everyone towards her.
She walked into the class, the class went silent for a moment some waved her a 'hey' but her eyes landed on the person with glasses who was buried in his books
She sat on the seat beside him, it was a surprise Cyrus was sleeping in the class, his head on his desk his glasses worn lower on the nose giving a better look of his closed eyes, she noticed he had long eyelashes
He looked so peaceful and ironically so burdened.
She rested her head on the desk to look at him with a different and closer angle, he had a bandage on his cheek and one on his forehead as well
It was a common occurrence, everyone in the school noticed that Cyrus always came with new bruises and cuts on his face almost every day, some made fun of him and called him a loser, and some pitied the fact that his pretty face was getting ruined, some just found him hot with scars and bruises
Serenity had her doubts since yesterday, what if she was mistaken? What if Cyrus isn't who she thinks he is?
But this time those fresh bruises proved to be useful for her, they confirmed all her doubts that he was the one from yesterday
His eyes snapped open, Serenity felt as if she was caught red-hand doing a crime their eyes met for a brief moment before he went back to reading the book he was using as a pillow.
Serenity thought he would question her as to why she was sitting beside him, but he did not even glance at her, he acted like her existence beside him did not matter to him
It was quite normal to her, it was Cyrus Grey after all.
"Everyone, please change into your P.E outfits we're playing dodgeball with the A section" the class president announced grabbing everyone's attention, complaints and groans were heard, it was expected students from section A never miss any opportunity to look down on section C
"Damn it, they're pitting us and those A class scums to prove how better they're than us"
"No, I'd rather stay in class"
"Urgh let this world end already"
Serenity did not mind anybody except if she was going against class A she would've to look at Luca's despicable face.
She went to the changing room to change her outfit, instead of just directly going to the playground she went to the classrooms where the guys were changing in their fits
