| A failure of Sinclair's

The class was filled with hushed whispers of students. The teacher, clad in fine attire, stood at the front of the class delivering everyone's exam scores.

He announced the names of the students from the highest to the lowest,"Cyrus Grey" he called out, applause was heard for him as he was once again the top student of the class. The score difference between the first and the runner up student was huge, emphasizing on the significance of his scores.

The rest of the students were handed their results as well, many students were disappointed by their result. As it drew to a close the name of the person who was last in the class was announced,

"Serenity Sinclair"

Serenity's eyes fluttered open as she heard her name, waking her up from her half sleep, her head resting on her arms on the desk. With a quick stretch and a soft yawn, she stood up gracefully, smoothing her uniform.

The silence fell upon the class before mutterings of students were heard which didn't go unnoticed by her,

"She's wealthy and this stuff wouldn't even matter to her, afterall she's been fed with the golden spoon since birth"

"Must be nice being so rich"

"That's exactly what they call being a beauty with no brain, imagine having all that money and still being a complete failure"

"Shh, what if she hears you?"

She ignored them the way Cyrus ignores her, getting the report card in her hands, she looked down upon it to see she had barely passed, 'Great another round of scoldings at home, I better think of something beforehand'

Last time when her father asked about her performance at the academy, she told him that she was late for the exam by two and half hours and had only half an hour to write the paper, which obviously did not work on him and had her credit card stripped from her for a week,

While she was immersed in her thoughts standing, the class president came forward to make an announcement.

"Please fill out your names in groups for the summer camp, whoever is yet to do so" he stated, which caught her attention

'A summer camp? Sounds a bit intresting' she thought to herself

She approached the class president, he hesitated for a moment, eyeing her with a mixture of admiration and surprise.

Serenity looked at him calmly, "hand it over"

He obeyed her order giving without any second thought, Serenity took the form and skimmed through the options for the names. Then, she cut to the chase, "Is Cyrus attending the camp?"

The class president raised an eyebrow. "Cyrus Grey? I believe he said to put his name wherever there's an empty spot"

It was a surprise to her that they had to form a group for the camp as Class C only gets access to limited hotel rooms and facilities so they've to share a room with a group of five-six students,

While the class A students get their own private rooms, lounges, pools.

A small smile played at the corners of her lips as she filled out her name and Cyrus's together. "Good", she said simply, returning the form to the class president.

"And don't let anybody else write their name in the same group as me, if you do, you won't like how it would end for you" she added,

"I'm surprised Cyrus is coming for the camp" she muttered under her breath.
