CHAPTER 007
| The Celestial Elites

Cyrus Grey sat alone in the bustling cafeteria of Celestia Academy, surrounded by the lively chatter of privileged students. With a strawberry milk in one hand and a book in the other, he was immersed in it. He could not make time for his studies yesterday and now he had to make up for it.

The vibrant atmosphere around him seemed distant, as if he inhabited his own secluded realm within the sea of affluent students.

Cyrus was startled when he sensed a presence approaching. The memory of her forceful kiss from yesterday lingered in Cyrus's mind, fueling his resentment toward her. He tightened his grip on the book ignoring her.

Serenity, undeterred by Cyrus's aloofness, gracefully approached his table and placed her lunch tray before him. "Cyrus," she said, her voice dripping with a haughty indifference. "I don't know what made you so mad yesterday, but here eat it, consider this as an apology or whatever".

Cyrus peered over the rim of his glasses, his eyes narrowing with guarded suspicion. He remained silent, refusing to acknowledge Serenity's presence or her gesture. The rejection was deliberate, a reflection of his anger from their previous encounter.

Serenity snatched the book from his hand, Cyrus gazed towards her heaving a sigh out of frustration,

"Now you're looking at me" Serenity uttered closing the book, "I don't know about your tastes, but I bought the popular stuff on the menu, I heard the kids here really like them" she added

Cyrus gazed down on the tray of food before him, the food in the cafeteria was too expensive for him to purchase, but it wouldn't be a big deal for the rich brats of the academy to eat something like this everyday.

But for Cyrus it was worth three days meal, little things like this made him realise just how far their worlds are.

Serenity who was rarely spotted in the Academy's cafeteria went through the trouble of buying it for him, a sight to behold for the students in the academy.

"Return it" Cyrus replied coldly, pointing towards the book she snatched from him.

"Have a bite atleast, no way you're having strawberry milk for lunch, what are you a five year old?" Serenity grumbled

"Mind your own god damn business, don't act like we're close" he retorted,

Serenity knew well why he was acting like this, not that she was surprised but he's acting more hostile towards her than before, "Alright, I agree we aren't close but do we've to be close in order for me to buy you a meal?" she reasoned

"And I'm refusing it, it's as simple as that" he snapped back

Serenity clicked her tongue, "Want me to feed you?"

Cyrus's face scrunched up in disgust, "I'd rather die" he stated,

Before Serenity could utter another word, a group of students swept into the cafeteria, causing a stir of curiosity among their peers. Cheers, whispers, eyes of admiration and jealousy were visible in the atmosphere as they walked in gracefully.

The group of the four wealthy students was named as 'The Celestial Elites', as they were the most popular group of students in the Academy

This prestigious title was given to the four students who were the epitome of popularity, charm, and exceptional abilities. Since their very first year, they had reigned supreme over the social hierarchy.

Aiden, Jasper, and Luca, the distinguished students of Class A, hailed from influential and affluent families. Not only did they possess striking looks, but they were also the members of the academy's football team which elevated them to the status of heartthrobs. They were adored by all who crossed their path.
