CHAPTER 025
| Only You, pt. 4"Of course, I am. Let's go," Serenity replied, unbuckling Cyrus's seatbelt. As she searched for the keys in Cyrus's pockets, Jasper's eyes followed her movements, "Why are you touching him like that? Whoa you're totally violating him! Should I call cops on you and send you back to the prison realm?"
"Shut up",
"I mean, you've already experienced it. This would be an easy ride for you," Jasper teased. Ignoring him she instructed, "Help me carry him,"
Jasper grabbed him by one shoulder, and Serenity took the other. As they lifted Cyrus, his head fell close to Jasper's neck, "I'm feeling things I'm not supposed to feel," he commented out of nowhere,
Serenity sighed, "Stop",
"Okay," Jasper responded laughing his ass off, as they carried Cyrus towards his home.
After putting Cyrus into his bed, Serenity and Jasper walked out of the bedroom to the living area, Serenity stood there looking at Jasper, "What now?" He asked,
"Get home safe", she replied, he blinked his eyes, "Huh? What about you?",
"I'll stay with him of course", she stated as a matter of fact.
"Hell nah, you think I'm gonna leave you alone with a man?" Jasper asserted arching his brow.
"What can he do though? He's out cold," Serenity countered,
"No, it's him I'm worrying about. That guy's defenseless, and I can't leave a pervert like you in a room alone with him," Jasper pointed towards her, Serenity's lips parted in disbelief, as he added, "I've seen how you look at him."
"How do I look at him?" Serenity inquired a bit curious,
"Like you'll devour him alive," Jasper remarked.
For some reasons she couldn't counter his statement, she gave in, "Lord, fine, sleep on the floor," she was ready to leave. Jasper caught her wrist, stating firmly, "You aren't going anywhere. Sleep here"
"Fine, I'll just sleep on the couch. It's not like I'd sleep beside Cyrus in his bed," Serenity retorted. "You sound so disappointed," Jasper remarked.
As Serenity was awfully at a close distance to him, she noticed, "Your shirt's wet."
"Yeah, cause of your tears," Jasper replied.
"What, no!" Serenity protested.
"Someone decided to weep into my chest and stain my shirt wet with tears," Jasper added dramatically,
"It's because your dumbass decided to drive here in the rain without an umbrella. Did you think you would drive your car into the station?" Serenity argued,
"Well, it's still your fault," 'You were anxious, your voice was so damn weak, and I can't think of you hurting even for a second.' he thought, but he couldn't say it out loud, she'd tease him for a century if he did.
"Take it off," she demanded, stepping closer to him.
Jasper's eyes widened as he took a step back. "Serenity?"
"Take your shirt off," she repeated.
"Serenity, I think we should take it slow-" he began, but she interrupted, "You can't sleep with wet clothes."
"Are you worried f-" Jasper started.
"You'll stain the carpet wet. Hurry up and change into something," Serenity insisted.
"No," Jasper resisted covering his chest like a young maiden.
Serenity closed the remaining distance between them, her hands taking his shirt off forcefully. His hands stayed intact on his chest, and accidentally, she ripped out a button from his shirt. The button rolled down on the floor landing beside the feet of a man, catching their attention.
